Seoul Station sandwich shop, half baguette, half ciabatta: Dance
In short
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a sandwich brunch shop on level B3 of Grand Central, right outside Exit 4 of Seoul Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. At Dance Dance Dance, the jambon and basil baguette sandwich came on the original baguette, and the mushroom grilled sandwich was switched to ciabatta for free. Both were eaten with an Americano and an oat latte, and what was meant to be a light bite turned into a filling meal. If you order two sandwiches at Dance Dance Dance, pick a different bread for each.

October has already begun! With the cool breeze starting to blow, I find myself wanting to sit outside with a relaxed cup of coffee. Not long ago I was at Seoul Station and wanted a simple brunch, so I stopped by Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station. I only planned on sandwiches and coffee, but it turned out to be more filling and tasty than I expected, so I wanted to introduce it to anyone looking for a good brunch spot near Seoul Station.
Where is Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station and what are the hours?
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is on level B3 of Grand Central, about a 1–2 minute walk from Exit 4 of Seoul Station. It opens at 7 a.m. every day, so it works for breakfast or lunch, and it is a convenient spot for a quick meal before catching the KTX.

- Address: 14 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul, Grand Central B3, Unit B306-2
- Hours: Daily 07:00–19:00
- Last order: 18:30
- Ordering: Kiosk / takeout available
- Parking: Grand Central parking lot available
Best of all, Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station has a spot in front of the shop where you can sit and eat, so it felt more relaxed than a takeout-only sandwich shop. It works well as a brunch place in Grand Central.

How is the jambon and basil baguette sandwich?
I ordered a baguette sandwich, a mushroom grilled sandwich, and an Americano and an oat latte. The baguette sandwich I ordered on the original baguette, as is.
Inside the crispy baguette are jambon (Korean-style thin-sliced ham) and basil. The salty jambon, fragrant basil and the plain, nutty baguette go together really well. I prefer sandwiches where you can taste each ingredient over ones stuffed with a bit of everything, so this suited me.

Mushroom grilled sandwich with a free ciabatta swap
At Dance Dance Dance you can swap the baguette for ciabatta at no charge, so I changed the mushroom grilled sandwich to ciabatta. That's one of the things I liked about the place. And I'm really glad I swapped. :)
It's a warm sandwich with mushrooms and richly melted cheese, which goes nicely with soft ciabatta. If the baguette sandwich is crispy and plain, the mushroom grilled one is soft and nutty, with a stronger cheese flavor! If you order two, it's worth doing what we did: one on the original baguette and one swapped to ciabatta.

Americano and oat latte: is the brunch filling?
For drinks, I ordered an Americano and an oat latte. I really meant to keep brunch simple, one coffee and one sandwich, but after eating the baguette sandwich together with the cheese-packed mushroom grilled sandwich, I was more full than I expected.
Simple, but far from light! It's good as a meal replacement on a busy day, and also nice for enjoying with coffee at a leisurely pace when you have plans at Seoul Station.

Is Dance Dance Dance a good brunch spot at Seoul Station?
You can get the sandwiches to go at Dance Dance Dance in Seoul Station's Grand Central, so it seems handy when your train time is tight. At Seoul Station people often settle for a meal inside the station building, but step out a little and Grand Central quietly has places to eat.
Of what I ate this time, the mushroom grilled sandwich swapped to ciabatta stayed with me most. The crispy baguette and soft ciabatta each have their own charm, and next time I want to try the tofu cream cheese item, which is said to be their signature.
If you're looking for a brunch spot in Grand Central, or a sandwich shop near Seoul Station where you can eat well with coffee in a relaxed space, keep this one in mind. :)
