Lash lift with lower lash perm in Hwaseong: Onyu Lash

When getting ready to go out in the morning, there are always parts that take especially long, right? For me, curling my lashes kept bothering me. Even after working hard with an eyelash curler, the two sides would look different, or they would droop again after a while—so frustrating...

I bought a DIY lash perm kit, messed it up, and only damaged my lashes. And lashes kept getting pulled out every time I used a curler. So when I had time, I finally went to Onyu Lash (온유래쉬), a great lash lift place in Dongtan.

Onyu Lash location and hours

Onyu Lash is inside Green Nail at 103, 1F, 12 Dongtanbansong-gil, Dongtan-gu, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is open Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00, and is regularly closed every Sunday.

It operates like a shop within a shop inside Green Nail, where I had previously gone for a nail appointment.

Where should I park?

You can park behind the building or in the street-side public parking lot in front. I used the public lot last time and got 1 hour 30 minutes free. This time, I arrived a little early and parked behind the building.

Inside the separate treatment space

It is located toward the back of Green Nail and has one bed, which was kept hygienically with disposable covers and supplies. Since it is a separate space, you can receive the treatment privately.

Discussing the curl I wanted

Before visiting, I think it helps to consider what normally feels inconvenient and how much curl you want. I went in wanting more than simply pretty, lifted lashes, so I thought more specifically about the look I wanted. The owner consulted with me carefully. I prefer a really lifted curl, so she tailored it to my eye shape.

A bed that stayed comfortable throughout the treatment

The moment I lay down, I loved the cushion supporting my lower body for circulation and the pillow gently supporting my cervical spine—I almost asked the owner where she bought them... The pillow even seemed to smooth out neck lines, which was so nice. You could get such a good nap, haha.

The mosaic looks odd, but as a blogger, I was taking photos even in this situation haha... The eye patches felt cool and nice. After this, I had the best nap!

I had a lash lift including the lower lashes. She did not initially recommend the lower lash perm because it would not show much, but since I use a lower-lash curler when doing makeup, I had it done too, along with black tinting.

At Onyu Lash in Dongtan, I had a comfortable lash lift without stinging eyes or tears. It turned out so well considering the condition of my lashes, so I was very satisfied. It was exactly what I hoped for from a Dongtan lash lift: keeping my usual eye shape while making it look a little more polished!

With my lashes naturally lifted, my eye area looked much more defined. Even without heavy makeup, the lashes created a focal point, so I think it would work well even on days when I am just heading out casually. I was so satisfied!!

Care guidance for broken and pulled-out lashes

She told me that many of my lashes were broken or pulled out in places from frequent use of an eyelash curler ㅠㅠ I knew they kept coming out, but it made me realize I should take better care of them. The owner also kindly explained how to care for them.

On the way back, I found myself checking my eye area once more with my phone camera. Really, the difference between permed and unpermed lashes is enormous ㅠㅠ
