Skin clinic in Seongnam for rosacea care: Stern Clinic
In short
Stern Clinic is a skin clinic near Sunae Station in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, for consultations on sensitive, problem-prone skin. I received a questionnaire, an approximately 30-minute skin-history review, a skin diagnosis, soothing care in a private room, and decanted home-care products. Verdict: A careful option for sensitive skin.

Today, I want to introduce the place I visited because of rosacea, something I have struggled with for such a long time. Since rosacea is so chronic and keeps coming back, I have been to dermatology clinics and tried all sorts of home care, but it is so stressful when my skin flares up as soon as I am a little run-down or something irritates itㅠㅠ
Then!! I heard there was a clinic for sensitive, problem-prone skin like rosacea, so I went to Stern Clinic (스테른클리닉). I went with such a desperate heart that I visited in person even though it was quite a distance away.
Stern Clinic near Sunae Station with free parking
Stern Clinic is about 252 m from Sunae Station Exit 3, so it is fairly close to the station. Even if it is a bit of a trip like it was for me, I think it is worth visiting if skin concerns are on your mind. Parking is free too, so it was convenient to come by car!

The interior was much bigger and more spacious than I expected. So grand... wow. It kind of felt like somewhere I had seen in a movie..? The staff also made me feel looked after throughout my visit, so I had a great first impression.

The waiting area was spacious too, and everything was clean and comfortable!!

For reference, there is a discount program from 20 sessions onward, as well as prepaid fixed-amount passes, so that may be useful to keep in mind during your consultation if you are planning ongoing care.

Questionnaire and skin-history review before the rosacea consultation
One thing before the consultation properly begins! You need to complete a questionnaire before visiting the clinic!! The consultation is based on what you write, and I was told that a full skin history is especially important for rosacea. Maybe that is why the history review alone took almost 30 minutes. They were incredibly thorough.
Then we checked my skin condition directly~~~ haha, no, my skin was in worse shape than I had expectedㅠ My T-zone had pores so clogged they could not breathe, while my U-zone was seriously dry. I could see it was practically cracking, which surprised even me.
There were also so many flushed areas around my pores, and I was told that my skin was weak and thinning. I tend to flare up badly whenever I get even a slightly stimulating treatment at a dermatology clinic, and they explained that this is because my skin itself is highly sensitive.

Also, there is a Naver review event for visitors, so be sure to take part!

A second skin check in a private treatment room
After finishing the skin diagnosis and waiting briefly in the lounge, I was taken to a treatment room for the main care session. I also loved that it was a private room for one~~! It was nice to receive care comfortably without worrying about anyone else :)

The treatment began with cleansing. Even after cleansing, they carefully checked my skin again under a microscope before starting. The person who consulted with me and the person who performed the treatment were different, but the treatment specialist had already been fully briefed on my skin condition. Still, I appreciated that they checked my skin directly once more before beginning.
Sensitive skin like rosacea can react to even minor stimulation, so that attention to detail was reassuring.

From gel soothing care to LED light care and a nourishing mask
The main treatment started with soothing care using a cool gel-type product. It felt cool and comfortable the moment it touched my skin, like it was calming my sensitized skin. Next came LED light care! My skin tends to redden and become sensitive easily, so I worried that the treatment might irritate it, but everything was carried out very gently.

At the end, they also applied a freeze-dried nourishing mask. I was amazed by how carefully they handled my skin throughout the session—it genuinely felt like they were treating it as gently as a baby's skin, haha. Maybe because of that, I barely felt any stinging or irritation during the treatment. For anyone like me whose sensitive skin makes even getting a treatment feel worrying, this kind of delicate care seems quite important.

Customized home-care products and a grooming area after treatment
And one of my personal favorite parts! After the treatment, they decanted ampoule, cream, cleansing milk, and cleansing cream suited to me and packed them separately. Since they gave me products to use at home, it did not just end with the treatment—it could continue into home care afterward. Especially for sensitive skin like mine, where it is hard to use just any product, choosing what to use is another concern, so I liked that they guided me according to my skin condition.

There was also a separate area where I could tidy my hair after the treatment. Hair can get a little flattened or messy after a session, so it was convenient to have a dedicated space to get ready before leaving :)
Rosacea has been such a long-standing concern for me that, rather than expecting huge results this time, I visited thinking, “Let’s properly understand my skin condition and receive care without irritation!” I liked that they continued checking my skin condition from the consultation through the diagnosis and treatment.
In particular, if your skin is sensitive and reddens easily, or even regular skin care has felt burdensome, I think it could be worth getting a consultation at least once. I will keep up with care too and see how my skin changes :) I hope this is helpful for anyone looking into care for rosacea or sensitive, problem-prone skin in Bundang!
