Evening Songdo café: cold brew & chocolate scoop cake, Standard Square

I went on a Songdo date with my boyfriend and we stopped by Standard Square, a place I used to visit all the time and a total repeat-visit favorite for me!! Anyone who knows Songdo knows it's famous for desserts. The cookies are so good that I've given them to friends as gifts. They just launched scoop cakes as a new menu item, and the look was so exactly my style that I came back with my boyfriend one more time ◟( ˘ ³˘)◞ ♡

Where is Standard Square, and what about hours and parking?

Standard Square is at 50 Keonbensia-daero, Building 101, Units 101-102, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, and it's open every day from 09:00 to 22:00. Parking is available: just use the underground car park of World Mark Prugio Complex 1.

Here's the outside of Standard Square! We went in the evening!! The shop has floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can see the blue interior at a glance. Isn't the exterior so pretty?!

Just like it looks from outside, the inside is also done in a blue and white style, which gives off a cool summer feeling and I loved it. It's kind of trendy and chic at the same time!?

Standard Square cookies and take-home cold brew

Standard Square is really good at cookies, so good that people buy them to take away by the armful. There's a variety, like the Dwaejiba (Dwaeji Bar, a Korean ice cream bar) cookie, the Lotus s'more cookie, the blueberry cookie and more!!

Whenever I come to Standard Square I always drink the cold brew, and I noticed they also sell cold brew in a separate container :) I think it's a great takeout option for people who enjoy coffee at home, haha.

If you go further inside Standard Square, there are seats done in an all-black style too!! Oh, I should sit here today, haha!

You can watch the coffee being made through the big windows, and it's kept clean and hygienic, which I liked even more, haha. And the staff member was so kind, so I was like, isn't this place just perfect?! Lucky-vicky mindset.

What's the coffee menu at Standard Square like?

The Standard Square menu is packed with options from signature coffees to espresso blends that even serious coffee people would enjoy, and there are non-coffee drinks too! The cold brew is so good that I always order it, haha.

The reason I came to Standard Square today!! I wanted to try this scoop cake that looks so delicious just by looking at it, haha. Isn't the look just deadly?

We ordered a chocolate scoop cake, one cold brew and one drip coffee!! The tray and straws it came with are blue-blue too, so cute.

Ethiopia Wesi Tima Washed G1 drip coffee

The drip coffee my boyfriend had at Standard Square was the Ethiopia Wesi Tima Washed G1. I'm no coffee expert so I can't say much, but he knows his coffee and drinks drip coffee a lot, and he praised the drip coffee here as really good : )

How does the chocolate scoop cake taste?

The chocolate scoop cake at Standard Square is topped with all kinds of chocolate cream, chocolate cake and chocolates, a cake chocolate lovers will go crazy for. It's thick and rich yet moist, and goes really well with coffee!

Look at the cream dripping down,, the different chocolates are layered up so the flavor is super good, and I totally recommend the scoop cake! Next time I'll try the new carrot scoop cake!!

Is Standard Square a good Songdo date café?

Standard Square has a nice overall atmosphere and does both tasty desserts and coffee well, so there's no reason not to go when you're in Songdo!! I hope you visit on a Songdo date or with family and friends, haha. Standard Square is really good at desserts!! If you're looking for a Songdo dessert spot, I highly recommend this place!
