Seongsu café with tablet ordering and ₩4,000 soft serve: Mellows

Today I visited Mellows, famous as a Seongsu dessert spot. Before summer ends, you have to try the ice cream here ★

Where is Mellows, and what is the Seongsu café like inside?

Mellows is a 3-minute walk from Exit 8 of Ttukseom Station, so it's really easy to get to. The brick exterior caught my eye even from far away.

The interior is decorated in a wood-brown feel and it's clean. There are four 2-person tables plus bar seats.

There are also bar seats like this, so it's great for spending time alone. The owner was especially kind, which made even a brief stay feel nice. It was full when we walked in, but by the time we left it had gotten more relaxed.

How much does the menu cost at Mellows?

You can order everything through a small tablet at the front. I took photos of the whole menu below for reference. The value was so good it was hard to believe these were Seongsu-dong prices !!!! ! !

They mainly sell coffee and ice cream, and I loved that there were so many ice cream varieties. Seeing this visual, there's no way you can't order... haha.

What do the peanut butter and matcha soft serves taste like?

Tada — since we went for dessert after a meal, we ordered a mix of coffee and ice cream.

The visual is amazing ^-^!! This is a place where you should definitely get one ice cream per person, no need to overthink it.

For starters, the ice cream base here is Sangha Farm ice cream, so it's a place you can trust.

This is the peanut butter ice cream I chose. It's loaded with peanut butter, cereal, and nuts — and it's only 4,000 won?? Especially with all the peanut butter piled on, you get that nutty flavor all the way to the last bite.

I really wonder if the owner is making any profit at all... they gave such generous portions ...!!!

The chocolate wafer stuck into the ice cream is also right up my alley. I honestly don't like ice cream that much, but Sangha Farm ice cream is the only kind I actually eat.

The milk flavor is rich and smooth, a taste everyone, young and old, would love. At the very bottom, cereal and nuts are packed in like this.

My partner picked matcha! The composition is the same, just with the topping switched to matcha. The matcha flavor was rich and there was plenty of cereal too, so the texture was really nice.

Decaf coffee at Mellows: americano 2,800 won, latte 3,500 won

We'd already had a cup of coffee each that morning, so I was going to just order ice cream, but since they had decaf, I tried it.

The coffee portion was generous, and the taste was rich and nutty, so I think it would appeal to everyone regardless of preference.

The space is clean and the value is great, so I'm sure I'll come back. That's my honest review of Mellows, the dessert café near Seongsu Station. If you're looking for a Ttukseom Station café or a Seongsu Station dessert spot, give Mellows a try.
