It's perfect walking weather these days. After picking my daughter up from daycare and doing a lap around Seoul Forest, we somehow always end up craving something sweet.
So this time, after our walk, we headed to 5to7, a soufflé spot near Seoul Forest, to recharge on sugar. It's about a 3-minute walk from Seoul Forest, so it was perfect to drop by right after our stroll.
Today I'll give you an honest rundown of the vibe at 5to7, the pearl crème brûlée soufflé, the drinks, and the prices — from a mother-and-daughter visit.

3 minutes from Seoul Forest — great for a walk-then-café spot with your kid
A walk in Seoul Forest after daycare pickup has become our go-to route lately haha. But after one lap, both of us end up with that 'need sugar' face lol. That day was exactly like that, so we went in to recharge.
5to7 is about a 3-minute walk from Seoul Forest. Holding my daughter's hand and strolling over from Seoul Forest, we got there in no time. If you're looking for a café near Seoul Forest to stop at after a walk, this one already wins on location alone.

It's basically right next to Seoul Forest haha.
From the 1st to the 2nd floor, a relaxed vibe that's great for photos
Going up the stairs brings you to the café entrance, and there are seats all the way up to the 2nd floor too.

We sat by the window on the first floor that day, and the first thing I noticed the moment we walked in was — this café is really, really pretty. It felt like photos would turn out nice no matter where you sat, so we spent a while looking around just to pick a spot lol.

The space was spacious and the seats had good spacing, so we could chat comfortably without worrying about the next table. That matters a lot when you're with a kid, right? The seating here wasn't cramped, so we could stay relatively comfortably even with my daughter.
Sitting there, I immediately thought, 'Next time I want to come here with a friend and chat.'

I also loved that green view through the window. It felt like the mood of our Seoul Forest walk carried right into the café. Sipping coffee while looking out at the greenery was healing all on its own.
What we ordered that day and the prices

We ordered three things that day.
- 🥞 Pearl crème brûlée soufflé — ₩21,000
- ☕ Dutch coffee americano — ₩6,000
- 🥤 Cream choco latte — ₩8,000

So how does the pearl crème brûlée soufflé taste?
All three items came out together, so here's a photo first. 📸 We heard the soufflé line's signature item was the pearl crème brûlée soufflé, so we picked that.
The moment the soufflé arrived, that sweet crème brûlée smell hit me and I nearly got dizzy lol.
Cracked it open. On top there's a caramel coating like crème brûlée, and inside the soufflé is packed with vanilla-scented custard cream. Eating it together with the pearls served alongside was such a great combo!!
To put it in one line: it tastes like a rich pearl milk tea turned into a soufflé.
The soft soufflé, the vanilla custard cream, and the chewy pearls on top all together made for a fun texture too.

The caramel coating on top gives off a sweet-bitter flavor with every bite. The sweetness wasn't too much for my taste either — just the right pleasant level, so I didn't get sick of it even by the end. Personally, I'd fully recommend this to anyone who loves sweet desserts!!
A perfect match for the soufflé: Dutch coffee americano
There were so many Dutch coffee drip devices in the store that I figured it must pair well with the soufflé, so I ordered one.

Sure enough, it went really well with the soufflé. The distinct Dutch coffee aroma and flavor were a perfect match for the soufflé cake. After eating the sweet soufflé, a sip of coffee cleaned things up nicely — I liked that. So if you're ordering the soufflé, I recommend getting a Dutch coffee americano alongside it!
The cream choco latte my daughter fell for

My daughter had the cream choco latte, and one sip in, she gave a big thumbs up lol. After daycare pickup and a full lap of Seoul Forest, she must have been pretty tired, but one sweet cream choco latte and she was fully recharged!
If you're visiting a Seoul Forest café with your kid, I think ordering a sweet drink like this is a great idea.
Next time: the fig soufflé
One thing that really surprised me — maybe because it's fig season, but so many people were eating the fig soufflé. And wow, the size was seriously huge lol.
I've seen various soufflés at Seoul Forest soufflé cafés, but I don't think I've ever seen one that size. Watching the next table, I immediately thought, 'Next time, that's the one, no question.' lol
Before we left, we also took a look around the second floor.
A relaxed space that was comfortable even with a kid

When you're at a café with your kid, comfort of the space matters just as much as how the dessert tastes. This place wasn't cramped, and the seat spacing was generous, so I felt comfortable the whole time. The owner was also very kind.
Looking out at the green view while having dessert and coffee — that was proper healing. If you're looking for a café to rest at after a walk in Seoul Forest with your kid, I think this is a solid choice.
The open, spacious feel looked great both for healing solo and for chatting with a friend, so I thought I'd definitely come back with friends next time haha.

A few things to check before you go (last order, parking)
- ✔️ Last order 8:30 PM — if visiting in the evening, it's best to go with some buffer time before last order.
- ✔️ No dedicated parking — if you're driving, use a nearby public parking lot.
It's fairly close to Seoul Forest, so I'd also recommend walking over after a stroll like we did.
Let's come back after another Seoul Forest walk
Overall I was satisfied. Being about a 3-minute walk from Seoul Forest meant we could pop in right after our walk, the café's atmosphere was pretty, and the pearl crème brûlée soufflé was delicious too.
Especially with the generous spacing, it was comfortable visiting with my kid, and it also seemed like a great spot to relax and chat with a friend. And our next goal is already set: the fig soufflé. 😆

Even my daughter said 'let's come again' on the way out lol. Daycare pickup → Seoul Forest walk → soufflé → coffee. It feels like our mother-daughter walking route is now complete. ✨
