Siheung Baegot shellfish grill for two: unlimited buttered abalone

My husband and I wanted grilled shellfish, so we went looking for good spots in Baegot. Unlimited Refill Grilled Shellfish Siheung Baegot Branch had unlimited scallops AND abalone, so off we went :)

Most shellfish grill places only offer a limited variety of shellfish, right? But here abalone is unlimited too, so I went half-excited, half-skeptical, wondering if that could really be true ..!

Unlimited Refill Grilled Shellfish Siheung Baegot Branch is at 7 Seoultaehangno 264beon-gil, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do, 2F Avenue France Central Purple A, South Korea. It's near Geobukseom in the Avenue France complex, so it's easy to get to, and you can just park in the mall's lot — super convenient haha.

The inside is neatly arranged and there's group seating, so I thought it'd be plenty good for a family gathering or a get-together with friends among Baegot restaurants 😊 And the ice neck coolers were such a nice touch...ㅠㅠㅠ

Starting the meal with scallops

Once we sat down, we started right off with scallops. Putting them on the charcoal fire brought a sizzling sound and a rush of ocean fragrance ..!

Watching the juices bubble inside the shell as the scallop meat plumped up made my mouth water just looking at it. One bite in, it was chewy with the sea's salty umami flavor spreading all through my mouth 👍

My husband kept saying "these scallops are really fresh" and kept refilling haha.

Is the abalone really unlimited at Siheung Baegot?

After a few plates of scallops we brought out abalone too, and yep — the plump abalone was unlimited refill as well ..!

Grilled over charcoal, the abalone turns chewy, and topping it with a piece of butter doubles the savory richness 😊

Abalone is usually a menu item you have to order separately at other shellfish grill places, but here it's included in the unlimited refill — that kind of lineup isn't common among Baegot restaurants. We both lost count of how many plates of abalone alone we ate haha.

Pork belly and meat on the same unlimited refill

It felt like a waste to only eat shellfish and abalone, so we brought out meat too hahaha. Pork belly was also part of the unlimited refill, so we really got to eat a wide variety.

Switching to meat after eating shellfish and abalone cut the richness and gave a nice change of texture, so we could keep eating without ever getting tired of it :) Unlimited Refill Grilled Shellfish in Baegot covers shellfish, abalone, and meat, so it's truly a place where you can eat until you're stuffed.

How much can two people eat here?

Going back and forth between scallops, abalone, and meat, before we knew it our stomachs were full haha. My husband said "this place really does unlimited refills right" looking satisfied. It's not common to find a place where you can eat this much variety unlimited for the price ^^
