The writer ordered the duruchigi and egg roll set and found the duruchigi's familiar spicy-sweet sauce solid but unremarkable, while the thick, moist gyeran-mari (rolled omelet) was the real favorite. At Yangpuni Kimchi Jjigae & Samgyeopsal, the egg roll is what makes the duruchigi set memorable.

Bultina Kkomak Jjamppong Dongtan Namgwangjang Branch (불티나꼬막짬뽕 동탄남광장점) is a jjamppong (spicy Korean-Chinese seafood soup) restaurant on Nojak-ro in Dongtan, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, where diners choose their spice level. On a friend's recommendation, the writer ordered the half-pig set (500g) of pork belly, pork neck and pork jowl and was happy with the included doenjang stew and jjolmyeon, the private rooms and the kids' zone. For tasting aged pork in several cuts in Sinbuldang, Hanmaeum Jeonguk Sikdang Cheonan Sinbuldang is a solid pick.
