Boryeong brewpub: jambon pizza and bottled stout, Daecheon Brewery

Found this craft beer spot, Daecheon Brewery, after the Boryeong Mud Festival 🍺 We'd just come from the mud festival and it was so hot I was desperate for a cold beer 🙉🙉

Honestly I didn't really plan out our Daecheon trip properly haha 🤣 While searching for things to do in Boryeong, I found Daecheon Brewery Craft Beer Brewery & Pizza Pub!

It had such a quiet vibe, perfect for a date, and a great place to rest during a Daecheon trip. The beer was genuinely delicious too — if you're looking for things to do in Boryeong, definitely save this one 🤍

A brewery tucked in an alley, full of atmosphere

Daecheon Brewery is down an alley — the kind of spot where you think, wait, is it really here? — and then this beautifully atmospheric space just appears. Parking is available right in front of the shop!

The moment we walked in, the distinctive brewery vibe and warm lighting were so pretty. Completely different feel from a regular bar — full-on brewery mood.

Turns out this was a hot spot in Daecheon?? Apparently a lot of celebrities have stopped by too

Kiosk ordering, and Chungcheong Tour Pass accepted

At Daecheon Brewery you order through a kiosk! You can also use the Chungcheong Tour Pass, but you need to show it at the counter.

Since it's near Daecheon Beach, quite a few seats were already filled. If you're visiting Boryeong, this seems like a great stop to add to your Daecheon itinerary!!!

Being just 2 minutes by car from Daecheon Beach, I get why it's such a popular spot near Daecheon Beach. They even have a non-alcoholic menu so drivers can join in too — that's really the best!!

If you book through Naver Reservation, you can use a coupon for a free Boryeong Mud sparkling water, so I'd recommend reserving ahead.

Tomato arugula jambon pizza, ₩27,000

Tomato arugula jambon pizza (₩27,000) — this was THE wood-fired pizza spot in Boryeong!!!

Fresh out of the wood-fired oven, the crust was seriously chewy, and I enjoyed it right down to the edge. The tomato's freshness, the arugula's aroma, and the jambon's flavor all came together beautifully — paired perfectly with the beer.

French fries, ₩13,000

The fries were crispy on the outside and well-seasoned, making them the perfect beer snack.

Boryeong Mud Lager, ₩7,000

The beer we ordered was Boryeong Mud Lager! (₩7,000) Since it's a brewery serving draft beer, the craft beer was really, really good.

Clean yet full of flavor, I kept reaching for more. Look at that head on it...

One more round back at the room: bottled stout to go

Daecheon Brewery also sells bottled beer, and I wanted to try the stout, so I bought one right away to have back at the room that evening.

Being brewed right there at the brewery, it was clearly different from bottled beer you'd get at a mart — you could really tell the freshness!! They also sell other merch, which was super cute...

Overall — why I'd recommend it for a Daecheon trip

I stumbled on this place while searching for things to do in Boryeong after the Mud Festival, and it turned out to be the spot I was most satisfied with on this whole trip ❤️❤️

Delicious wood-fired pizza, fresh craft beer, and a space full of atmosphere — I definitely want to come back next time. If you're looking for things to do in Boryeong or a spot near Daecheon Beach, I highly recommend Daecheon Brewery Craft Beer Brewery & Pizza Pub for your Daecheon trip!!
