We had beef rib meat and pork belly with a taco bar, pot rice, and cold noodles for a weekend lunch with the kids. A filling, fun choice for a family meal.
Kkamang Dwaeji Jungmun Branch is a black pork restaurant near the Jungmun Tourist Complex in Seogwipo, Jeju. I added pork neck to the 25,000 won lunch special and enjoyed staff-grilled pork with doenjang-jjigae and bibim-guksu. Verdict: the rice, kimchi, and black pork combination was especially unforgettable!

Gogikkun Gimchunbae Hongdae Supgil Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Mapo, Seoul, within walking distance of Sinchon, Hongdae, and Sogang University stations. We reserved ahead for the beef-and-pork set, then finished with pork skin, half-and-half naengmyeon, and kkakdugi fried rice. Verdict: a thoughtful, satisfying dinner by Gyeongui Line Forest Park.
Kkuudeok Seolleung Main Branch is an Italian restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul, serving pasta, risotto, and steak grilled at your table. The ₩46,800 set for two stood out for its truffle cream funghi risotto and rye bread with butter cream cheese. Verdict: a lovely choice for a Seolleung dinner date with steak and wine.

I walked straight in after the weekend dinner rush for YBD loin and tenderloin cutlets plus sashimi katsu, and the juicy hire katsu and tender chicken breast cutlet stood out. Verdict: I’d arrive earlier next time for the limited cuts.
