A weekday brunch day for the first time in ages~ We visited Mount Sunday, a Yangsan brunch favorite we have come back to N times!

Inside the restaurant. Wait, this is weekday lunchtime—are all these customers for real? Mount Sunday is genuinely packed every time I come.

There were solo seats, and high chairs were ready too.

Mount Sunday, a Yangsan brunch favorite, also sold a variety of ingredients. Perfect for having a little look around while waiting for the food—maybe there is something to buy~

The restroom is inside and separated by gender, which was nice :) The weather is mild now, but blankets are available for when it gets chilly! Haha.

The pet-visit rules and country-of-origin notice. Since many restaurants do not allow pets, I loved that Mount Sunday lets you bring one along as long as you follow the rules!

What came in the Couple Gnocchi Set

There was a separate menu, and ordering through the QR code posted at each table was so, so convenient! This time, we ordered the ✔️ Couple Gnocchi Set for two.

• Pumpkin cream gnocchi
• Kimchi fried rice
• French toast
• Zero Cola

After we ordered, a staff member first brought over the cutlery and Zero Cola. Serving it with an ice cup—such a good touch.

After waiting around 10–15 minutes, our dishes began arriving one by one. First up were the pumpkin cream gnocchi and the newly released kimchi fried rice!

Oh… it was my first time ordering the kimchi fried rice at Mount Sunday, so I had expectations, but even the presentation was no joke.

And alongside it came my favorite, the pumpkin cream gnocchi! It is a dish I genuinely crave regularly. It would not be an exaggeration to say I keep coming back just for this lol. It is seriously delicious… my all-time gnocchi. Everyone needs to know about it.

How was the new kimchi fried rice?

First, the kimchi fried rice! To give you the conclusion first, it was even better than I expected.

It came topped with soft egg and avocado, so it looked delicious from the start. With shrimp, bacon, and vegetables mixed in too, it had more varied bites than fried rice made with just stir-fried kimchi. The tangy, spicy flavor of the kimchi came through nicely. Personally, I did not find it spicy! An easy flavor for most people to enjoy.

Pumpkin cream gnocchi that brings me back

My favorite pumpkin cream gnocchi. The gnocchi are chewy yet soft ㅠㅠ The pumpkin cream sauce is nutty with a subtle sweetness. At some point, I always find myself scooping up the sauce like soup. Seriously… if you are looking not just for great gnocchi in Yangsan but great gnocchi anywhere in Korea, come to Mount Sunday lol.

French toast with more than enough for two

And finally, the French toast! Haha, I was surprised by how much there was. It was more than enough for two people(?) lol. The French toast was deliciously fluffy, with egg-soaked sandwich bread, and every piece of fruit on the side was fresh and unblemished. No secret that we ate about half of the French toast and packed up the rest because there was so much.

If you have a big appetite, get the Couple Gnocchi Set like we did. You walk in slim and leave with a round belly—magic lol. Everything is delicious, so there is no way to leave anything behind^^

Everything was so, so good on this visit too. Every time I visit Mount Sunday, a Yangsan brunch favorite, pumpkin cream gnocchi is a must, and I try one new dish at a time; I do not think I have ever had a miss.. On a day when you want to enjoy a relaxed brunch around Mulgeum, Yangsan, it is a place worth remembering for a visit as a couple :)
