Sangam Hoegwan Main began with a single bowl of kongguksu and makes its soy milk broth only from soybeans contract-grown in Gangwon-do. Every morning, the Sangam Hoegwan Main team sorts the beans, makes the broth and boils the noodles themselves. Besides the classic kongguksu, Sangam Hoegwan Main offers variations such as sweet pumpkin kongguksu and ube kongguksu, along with perilla oil milmyeon and 'Mom's Kimchi Bibim Guksu'.
Sangam Hoegwan Main originally operated in Savoy City DMC and moved a 4-minute walk away to the B1 food court of Sangam IT Tower, where Sangam Hoegwan Main now has more space than before. To go with the noodles, Sangam Hoegwan Main also serves kimchi pancake, a plate of four large dumplings, soju and bottled beer.
