Yeoyeojeong grills salt-aged beef and pork served only as fresh, never-frozen meat over charcoal. Yeoyeojeong's marinated galbi is made from butterflied ribs marinated by hand in the restaurant's own house-made sauce, and the meat is prepared little and often, only in amounts that can be used within three days. Yeoyeojeong burns coffee-wood binchotan charcoal, which does not spark, and flames rarely flare up when fat drips, so there is little smoke.

Yeoyeojeong makes its own white kimchi for side dishes and noodles, and uses chili peppers and other vegetables grown in its own fields in Yangyang along with local produce from Yangyang Market. The caipira lettuce served for wraps at Yeoyeojeong is grown hydroponically at a smart farm run by the Yangyang-gun Association of the Physically Disabled. Yeoyeojeong also has a separate room for up to 24 people with its own entrance.
