Today we went looking for a café near Sinnonhyeon Station where we could comfortably stay late, and ended up at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch.

This place runs a full 24 hours, so we didn't have to worry about the clock at all. It also has such a variety of seating that it's less of a spot for just a quick coffee and more of a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station good for studying, working, and resting.

Where is Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon, and is there parking?
Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch 24 Auto Brew Cafe is at 31 Gangnam-daero 79-gil, 1st floor, Seocho-gu, Seoul, and is open 24 hours. There's no parking on site, so we'd recommend using a nearby public parking lot.
Seating at Selecto Coffee: the sofa seats were the comfiest
Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch has all kinds of seating, from regular tables to study spaces, wall-side seats, and window bar seats. The moment we walked in, the surprisingly spacious layout caught our eye first.

There were regular table seats, spots good for studying, seating along one wall, and window bar seats all set up around the space.

The sofa seats in particular were so soft and comfortable that we could sit there for a long while, and since each seating area had a slightly different mood, we liked being able to pick a spot to match what we came for.

What we liked most was that outlets were placed close to the seats. It made the layout convenient for studying or working on a laptop or tablet.
The computer zone: printing, copying and scanning
One of the most impressive things about Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch was the printing facilities. There's a computer available on one side of the store, and you can not only print but also copy and scan.

It seemed like it would be really useful for anyone who needs to print out documents.

The restroom is also close to the store and kept clean, so there was no worry about staying for a long stretch of time.

So personally, this was a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station I'd especially recommend to anyone looking for a spot to study with coffee or get laptop work done.
What we ordered: Geisha and Mocha americanos with a ricotta cheese sandwich
That day at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch we ordered a mocha blend iced americano, a Geisha blend iced americano, and a ricotta cheese sandwich. Since you can choose your beans, we each ordered according to our own taste as a couple.

First, the Geisha blend iced americano was really delicious.
It's a bean with a clear acidity, but it wasn't an overly strong or heavy-handed sourness. There was also a subtle floral aroma, and the acidity came through cleanly, making it a style that was more approachable than we expected, for pretty much anyone.
The mocha blend, on the other hand, was a nutty, roasty blend that was much easier to drink comfortably. The two beans had distinctly different styles, so it seems like a good idea to choose based on your preference. We enjoyed both iced and cold, and the portions were generous, which was satisfying.

And the ricotta cheese sandwich, true to its name, was packed with plenty of ricotta cheese.
Along with the soft ricotta cheese, there was a slightly sweet sauce and bits of raisin-like ingredients mixed in, which gave it good texture, and it was more filling than expected, making it a fine simple meal to pair with coffee.
Open 24 hours: when is Selecto Coffee staffed and when is it self-service?
Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch runs 24 hours, but staffed and unstaffed hours are split by time of day. Monday through Friday it's staffed from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., with self-service outside those hours.

On Saturdays and Sundays it's staffed from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with self-service the rest of the time. Even during unstaffed hours, there are plenty of convenience foods stocked so it's easy to use, which seemed handy if you want simple coffee or a bite late at night.

There are also outdoor tables outside the store, so on a nice day, it seemed like it would be nice to sit outside and enjoy a bit of a camping-like atmosphere.
Final thoughts on Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon
Overall, Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch was a space good not just for drinking coffee but for studying, working, and resting all at once.

On top of that, the 24-hour operation is a real advantage, making it useful when you need somewhere to go late at night or in the early morning.
