In short

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch 24 Auto Brew Cafe is a 24-hour study café in Seocho, Seoul, about 320 meters from Sinnonhyeon Station. On a Sunday afternoon the writer ordered a Geisha blend americano and the new ricotta cheese and cranberry sandwich, then worked on a blog post in a partitioned solo study seat. Lately I've gotten really into the fun of working at a café on weekends~ If I stay home on weekends I inevitably end up lying down scrolling my phone, taking naps, that kind of thing. But if I get up just a bit early and set a schedule — like a dermatology appointment, or 'commuting' to a café that's good for working — I feel like I use my time so much more meaningfully!

This Sunday I spent my time working at Selecto, the 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station~ For anyone living near Sinnonhyeon, this seems like a really good café for café-working or bringing a laptop, so I wanted to introduce it!

First up, the exterior of Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon! Since it's a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station where you're not rushed by time, it felt like a pretty welcoming space for office workers who want to keep their productive routine going even after a late finish at work 😊

The exterior is decorated in Selecto's signature vivid coral color, so it was easy to spot from a distance. It's located between Sinnonhyeon Station and Gangnam Station, so it's a decent spot to stop by before or after work or meetings.

Storefront with signage for 24-hour operation and self-service printing

Out front there was a big sign announcing 24-hour operation along with self-service printing. It's not just a place to grab coffee late at night — it's a practical café for working near Sinnonhyeon where you can also handle printing, copying, and scanning.

Sandwiches and salads for a quick meal at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon

Walking in, the first thing you see is a display case of sandwiches and salads. Unlike cafés that only sell simple desserts, having menu items you can actually eat as a meal really appealed to me as an office worker.

Especially when you want to work or study at a café, just eating cookies or other baked goods doesn't feel filling enough, but eating something too heavy can cause a blood sugar spike that makes you sleepy and unable to focus. So these light, simple sandwiches or salads you can eat while working feel like such a smart menu choice for café-workers!

If you head straight to café-work at Sinnonhyeon right after getting off work, you're inevitably a bit hungry. Being able to order coffee and a sandwich together without stopping at a separate restaurant saved time and kept my flow going.

Poster announcing the launch of NEW LIGHT SANDWICH

On one side of the store there was a sign announcing the launch of NEW LIGHT SANDWICH. Looking closely at the poster, there were five kinds total: ricotta, sweet pumpkin, ham & cheese, chicken, and egg mayo. You can pick based on your taste or how hungry you are that day, and the prices, from ₩4,500 to the ₩5,000 range, were relatively easy on the wallet.

Being able to take care of coffee and a simple meal in one go without stopping at a separate restaurant is also a plus. That's one reason I thought this was such a good café for working near Sinnonhyeon for busy office workers trying to save time.

Since it's a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station with simple, easy-to-eat menu items like sandwiches, it seemed great to use after working late or on days you miss dinner :)

How roomy does the Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon seating area feel?

Interior with bar table along the windows and sofa seats

The interior of Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon is neatly decorated centered on white, gray, and wood tones, with the signature coral accents dotted here and there. There's a bar table along the floor-to-ceiling windows, sofa seats, and regular tables evenly distributed, so it didn't feel awkward to visit alone at all.

Near the entrance there's a kiosk set up, so ordering was easy. Since it switches to self-service after staffed hours end late at night, if you're looking for a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station, it's more convenient to check the usage method in advance.

Partitioned solo study seats for working alone

What I especially liked was the partitioned solo study seats! Since your line of sight is naturally separated from the seat next to you, it's easier to focus than at a regular table, and it felt like you had your own secured workspace, which made it a great space for concentration.

Partitioned solo study seat area

Usually cafés only have a few of these solo study seats so competition for them is fierce, but here there were plenty, so it was relatively easy to grab one!

Sign noting the 2-hour limit on solo study seats

That said, the solo study seats have a 2-hour usage limit. It's a rule meant to let multiple people share these popular seats, so it seems best to use them by focusing hard and finishing your task within the two hours.

Plenty of outlet seats for laptop work

Window-side solo seats with outlets

Since this store clearly targets people near Sinnonhyeon looking for a place to café-work or work on a laptop, outlets were generously placed mainly at the solo study seats and window-side solo seats! It's so annoying when your laptop dies while working, so these individual outlet seats are precious haha!

The 24-hour self-service print zone for students and job seekers

24-hour self-service print zone with a computer and multifunction printer

What especially impressed me was the 24-hour self-service print zone set up inside the store. With a computer and a multifunction printer available, you could not only print but also copy and scan.

If you've ever needed to urgently print study materials or certification files for job hunting and had to search around for somewhere with printing, you know that feeling — anyone who's worked knows it at least once. Being able to print out the materials you need right there while working over coffee was genuinely practical.

Printing is a separate paid service, and prices may vary depending on paper size and whether it's in color. If you're planning to print important documents, I'd recommend checking the file format and payment method in advance.

Sweet snacks for a quick sugar boost

There are also plenty of menu items for a quick sugar fix when you get hungry or your blood sugar dips while working or studying~!

Iced Geisha blend americano with a sandwich
Coffee and sandwich set at a solo seat

I started my blog post writing with an iced americano and a sandwich on the side. What I chose was the Geisha blend americano, known for its fruity, floral notes and sweet-tart blackberry and plum flavor, along with the newly released light sandwich, the ricotta cheese & cranberry sandwich — so I could take care of a simple meal all in one place.

Light sandwich with ricotta cheese and cranberries

My pick that day was the ricotta cheese sandwich! It was generously filled with ricotta cheese, and the addition of dried cranberries kept it from feeling too rich while adding a tangy note, so I really enjoyed it haha~ Since the sandwich wasn't overly filling, I felt less sluggish while working, and it was much more sustaining than just having a coffee. Sitting in a comfortable solo seat and starting to work, I naturally felt the resolve of 'I'll finish at least one thing today!' haha

Is Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon worth it for a weekend work routine?

On this day too, I sat down at a solo study seat to focus and live my best weekend haha! Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon was great for keeping up a productive routine since it's usable as a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station even late at night. With seats that are easy to open a laptop at, outlets, and even a simple meal available, it felt like a genuinely worthwhile space for office workers doing side work.

If you're looking for a good café for working near Sinnonhyeon where you can study for certifications, work on a portfolio, or do blog side work near your workplace, give it a visit. It'll suit you better than a flashy aesthetic café if what matters to you is practical facilities and an environment you can focus in.

If you're like me and want to properly immerse yourself for just two hours after work, it might be worth trying out the solo study seats.
