Ryeowon Skin Care in Nowon offers face-slimming care, contouring care, dress-line care, asymmetry care, square-jaw care, and upper-arm care—exactly the treatments I needed with a little over a month left until the wedding, so I decided to visit.

Ryeowon Skin Care is near Nowon Station on Lines 4 and 7, so I think it should be easy to get to!

A sunny private treatment space

Maybe because it's on the third floor, it gets lots of sunlight, and the leafy view from the window was already healing the moment I walked in. The many plaster casts seemed to show that this is a contouring-care specialist too!!

Besides contouring and dress-line care, they also seemed to specialize in head spa, scalp care, and skin care, so I wanted to try a head spa next time!!

Treatments are private and one-on-one, and the treatment room was clean and tidy, so I could relax comfortably!! Cleanliness is especially important at a place that treats your body, and Ryeowon Skin Care in Nowon had a disposable face cover fitted to the bed, so the part touching my face didn't feel icky at all!

This was the area for head spa treatments, and I saw in other reviews that people said it was so refreshing and nice. I really want to try the head spa next time too! Even the chair looked comfortable.

This was the vanity area for freshening up after treatment, with a sink, cosmetics, and even a hair dryer! There was nothing missing, so it was great for tidying up my messy hair and face afterward 😆

Dress-line care prices and the pre-treatment questionnaire

I liked that this Nowon bridal-care specialist, Ryeowon Skin Care, displays its prices transparently! I received dress-line care, and they said that booking 10 contouring-care and dress-line-care sessions together comes with one complimentary contouring session for the groom~ The prices for dress-line and contouring care also felt reasonable compared with other 경락 (traditional Korean massage) shops, so it was a little less of a burden during all the expensive wedding prep ㅜㅜ!!

They also gave me delicious yuzu tea, so I filled out the questionnaire while sipping tea!

Dress-line care focused on trapezius muscles and the shoulder line

This was the state of my trapezius muscles before starting ㅜㅜ I was worried about my upper arms, trapezius muscles, collarbones, and shoulder line, and Ryeowon Skin Care's dress-line treatment focused on those areas. It felt wonderfully refreshing, but it also felt as if my lines were being refined, which was so nice as a bride-to-be with the wedding coming up!

First, they relax the muscles with a warm heat device. It was warm with a little pressure, which felt so good and refreshing~ Since this step loosens the muscles before the hands-on massage, I felt like the massage worked even better?..

After the heat treatment, the therapist gives a hands-on massage, and it felt sooo refreshing.. They carefully worked through my neck muscles, trapezius muscles, and shoulders—their hands were seriously amazing at Ryeowon Skin Care!!!

Maybe because I said the wedding wasn't far away and my trapezius muscles were a concern, they worked especially thoroughly on the back of my neck~ Other shops use machines a lot too, but I definitely think direct hands-on treatment feels more refreshing than a machine.

My shoulder line and trapezius line felt much softer! I also had a lot of neck tension and fatigue, so I loved how relaxed I felt after the massage!! I hope to keep getting treatments and have delicate-looking shoulders by the wedding.

They served warm tea to finish too, so I had a healing time from beginning to end!
