Gangnam restaurant with cold buckwheat noodle sets: Cheongdam Kkatsu
In short
Cheongdam Kkatsu is a Japanese restaurant near Gangnam-gu Office Station in Gangnam, Seoul, serving pork cutlets alongside Korean dishes. Two guys dropped in without a plan and ordered the cucumber bibim buckwheat noodle pork-cutlet set, pork kimchi jjigae with pork cutlet, and fried shrimp. Verdict: the fried shrimp was the standout, and it is a handy choice for lunch or dinner after work.

Honestly, I thought there would be nothing around Gangnam-gu Office Station. But nope! The two of us met up today without even making a plan for what to eat.
When guys want something to eat, we often just talk about it on the spot and head straight to a restaurant, you know? Then suddenly, we were craving pork cutlets. Pork cutlets—one of the three great foods for men? A true soul food!
But then! The place we found was not just a simple pork-cutlet restaurant.

The entrance and interior

A Japanese cat decoration welcomed us from the entrance. In the photo, you can see Japanese words on the right for blessings, happiness, fortune, and so on. Maybe that is why I felt a little different from the moment I walked in.

Once inside, I saw that there were quite a lot of tables! It was neat, and every table had a T-order tablet, so ordering was easy~

Do you know rapper Swings's famous line? It is, “Do you like pork cutlets?” Apparently, it works surprisingly well when you are flirting? Please try it on a friend who likes pork cutlets, especially.
Enough nonsense—let us get to the point!

Cucumber bibim buckwheat noodle pork-cutlet set and kimchi jjigae with pork cutlet
We ordered pork kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew) with pork cutlet, the cucumber bibim buckwheat noodle pork-cutlet set, and Coke Zero~!

And on top of that, we ordered shrimp as a side.
The best thing: fried shrimp
Starting with my shrimp review, seriously... I think the fried shrimp was really... the best thing❗️❗️ Crispy outside, tender inside—the real deal~ It felt like a live shrimp 🍤 was meeting seawater in my mouth and dancing.

Cucumber bibim buckwheat noodles with pork cutlet, perfect for summer
Next up was the cucumber bibim buckwheat noodle pork cutlet. It was just right for hot summer weather: the cucumber and cool buckwheat noodles kept going down in easy slurps 🍴🍴. Having crispy pork cutlet alongside them made it an excellent choice.
My friend ordered the pork kimchi jjigae & pork cutlet, because he really loves Korean food. 🍲 Even though pork cutlets are the main thing here, being able to enjoy Korean dishes too felt like a real plus! I really love kimchi jjigae, and my friend said the spicy broth, kimchi, and pork were such a perfect match 😊

Basic side dishes are provided, but you need to get extra side dishes yourself 😙. It also looked like you could get more rice!

Once we had finished everything, we returned our dishes at the return station, haha. There were also more seats further inside the restaurant. Maybe next time I will try eating back there 🙌
My thoughts on this Gangnam-gu Office Station lunch
The biggest advantage was that it is so close to Gangnam-gu Office Station, so it felt like a great option for nearby office workers having a meal after work, haha. I think it would be especially good for lunch around Gangnam-gu Office Station! It is also a restaurant worth visiting for anyone who wants pork cutlets but also wants Korean food~~
