Suwon Italian restaurant flagship: shrimp spicy rigatoni at Low Five

Today I visited the flagship branch of Low Five, a really famous pizza spot in Haenggung-dong. I'll share my honest review, recommended menu items, and the differences from the Sinpung branch.
Where the Low Five flagship is and when it opens
The Low Five flagship is at 59 Sinpung-ro 23beon-gil, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, 1st floor. Hours are Wed–Sun 11:20–21:00 (last order 19:30), with a break time from 15:00–16:50, and it's closed every Tuesday. It may close early if ingredients run out, and Wi-Fi, takeout, and group seating are all available.
Low Five has two branches in Haenggung-dong alone, and both are famous Italian restaurants with waits nearly every weekend. It may close early if ingredients sell out or waits get too long, so keep that in mind!
There's a set time for handing out opening number tickets, so keep that in mind if you're visiting! There's no dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to use public parking.
Inside the Low Five flagship: how it differs from the Sinpung branch
The flagship has a vibe that's similar to yet different from the Sinpung branch. But either way, both have great atmosphere, so I'd recommend either as a date spot!
Low Five flagship menu: which dishes the Sinpung branch has instead
Low Five is famous as a pizza restaurant in Haenggung-dong, so pizza is a must-order. Beyond that there's pasta, kimchi fried rice, and more. Just note that right now, kimchi fried rice is only available plain due to an avocado ripening issue, and the tteukbanga pasta available at the Sinpung branch isn't offered here.
Half-and-half pizza: corn on one side, pepperoni on the other
Every time I come here I've only ever ordered the corn pizza, but I was curious about the pepperoni too, so I ordered a half-and-half. Just so you know, the pizzas here only come in corn and pepperoni, so if you order half-and-half, this is what you get.
Whether corn or pepperoni, the toppings on top are so generous that the pizza feels quite heavy, haha. The cheese was so plentiful it stretched when pulled apart.
The pepperoni pizza was slightly spicy, with rich, salty pepperoni that was so delicious. It has a pungent kick that would pair especially well with a heavier pasta, so I definitely recommend it.
The corn pizza has an incredibly strong truffle scent and flavor — genuinely one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The sweetness of the corn pairs so well with the truffle that one bite makes it obvious why this place is called a pizza restaurant worth visiting 😋
The crust isn't super thick, but with shrimp added to the corn pizza and generous basic toppings, one bite fills your mouth completely. The dough is also really chewy, and the self-serve bar has plenty of parmesan cheese powder and hot sauce, so you can adjust it to your taste and it's still delicious, haha.
Shrimp spicy rigatoni: what a first-time order tastes like
This was my first time trying this dish at Low Five, and honestly there's no bad dish here. It comes topped with plenty of plump shrimp, and the portion overall was generous, which I loved.
The pasta noodles were chewy with great texture, and the sauce soaked in really well — so delicious. It's on the spicier side, so if you can't handle spice, pairing it with something heavier might help tone it down a bit.
The sauce has a slightly rosé feel but is spicy enough not to feel greasy, and it's loaded with thick bacon that's savory with every bite.
Kimchi fried rice: plain only at the Low Five flagship
This kimchi fried rice is one of the must-order dishes at Low Five — moderately spicy with a savory depth that's hard for anyone to dislike.
It's oily and bold in flavor, so if you prefer bland food it might feel like a lot, but eaten together with the fluffy egg it pairs really well.
What to order at the Low Five flagship in Suwon
Honestly the flavor here is already a sure bet, so you can't really go wrong with anything, but the corn pizza is still on another level, so I'd definitely recommend trying it.
