While out exploring Haenggung-dong in Suwon with my sister, we stopped by this pizza and pasta Italian restaurant — great atmosphere, great food, I totally recommend it as a date spot,, ෆ

How to find the Low Five entrance

Low Five, a date-worthy restaurant right in the middle of Haenggung-dong, Suwon. It can be hard to spot since it's hidden behind thick trees, but there's a sign posted, and the entrance is where you see the stairs-!

Almost had to wait even at 5pm on a weekday

It started as a small brunch spot but has now become such a popular Haenggung-dong Italian restaurant that there's a waitlist- ෆ It's so popular that even though we timed our visit right at 17:00, just after weekday break time, the place was still packed with customers and we nearly had to wait

Atmosphere and the self-service corner

The restaurant's atmosphere was really so lovely that I'd strongly recommend it for a date with someone you love, or as a gathering spot 👏🏻

There's also a neatly arranged self-service corner off to the side where you can easily grab extra utensils, hot sauce, cheese, napkins, and more- ෆ

True to a Haenggung-dong Italian restaurant, there's a wide variety of pasta and pizza dishes-! They're all crowd-pleasing types, so even if you're dining with someone picky, it'd be easy to find something to order (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

The 3 dishes we ordered for two

My sister and I visited together and ordered three dishes — classic Caesar salad, half-and-half pizza (corn/hot pepperoni), and vongole pasta — and it was plenty for the two of us-!

Classic Caesar Salad (₩12,000)

Romaine, lettuce, and other greens dressed with ranch dressing and Reggiano cheese, giving both freshness and a nutty richness at the same time. A perfect way to prevent a blood sugar spike before diving into the real meal-!

Vongole Pasta (₩18,000)

The clean, savory taste of Manila clams blended with the aroma of garlic and olive oil for a flavor that was both light and deep. Right up my alley since I love clams,,ෆ

Half-and-Half Pizza (₩26,000)

A half-and-half pizza that lets you enjoy two flavors at once. The corn pizza had bursting-fresh corn kernels combined with white truffle cream and butter seasoning for a sweet yet nutty appeal, while the hot pepperoni pizza combined salty pepperoni with the spiciness of jalapeño, so it kept your hand reaching back for more without feeling greasy,,ෆ

The corn pizza especially was my favorite — the combination of sweet corn and nutty cream sauce was so good. The corn was piled on generously too, giving a satisfying pop with every bite,,ෆ 🌽🍕🌽🍕🌽🍕🌽🍕🌽🍕🌽🍕

We got full eating the pizza together and left one slice behind, but once I got home I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I'll have to go back again soon. Certified Haenggung-dong pizza spot!!!!!!!!!!!
