In short

The 39,000-won Signature Set for Two included donpeiyaki, Jojo okonomiyaki, and shio yakisoba, all kept warm on the griddle. Verdict: the generously scallion-topped shio yakisoba was the standout.

Jojo Triple Street Branch is a lovely Japanese teppanyaki place in Songdo where you can try lots of delicious Japanese dishes, including okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake), yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), and monjayaki! There are so many branches nationwide, and I found out the chef appeared on Culinary Class Wars. This was my first time visiting a place that had been on a competition show, so that was really fascinating haha.

There were so many customers inside, so I took these after things had calmed down a bit~ There are five four-person tables and six two-person tables. We came at weekday lunchtime and there was only one seat left; as soon as we got in, three groups were already waiting. Wow, I can't believe it's this popular!

Ordering the Signature Set for Two

The menu has all sorts of options, including okonomiyaki, yakisoba, monjayaki, and fried rice, plus highballs and sake~ We ordered the Signature Set for Two for ₩39,000 and switched the karai yakisoba for shio yakisoba~

Donpeiyaki

Donpeiyaki with pork belly and rolled egg

The donpeiyaki wraps pork belly in a soft rolled egg!! Inside, it was packed with juicy pork belly and vegetables, and eating it all wrapped up in that egg was seriously delicious!

Donpeiyaki with special sauce and mayonnaise

It came generously drizzled with Jojo's special sauce and mayonnaise sauce, and the sweet-and-salty combination went so well together~ Every table has spicy seasoning sauce, Jojo's special sauce, and mayonnaise; we added even more mayonnaise hahaha. Basically a mayo addict;

Jojo Okonomiyaki

Jojo signature okonomiyaki

What an impressive-looking okonomiyaki! It seemed enormously bigger and thicker than the one I had in Osaka before!

Thick Jojo okonomiyaki

I cut into it right away, and it was absolutely full of shrimp, squid, and meat, with lots of sweet cabbage packed inside!! There was more cabbage than batter, so it wasn't heavy at all, and the crunch made it even tastier!

Okonomiyaki with shrimp, squid, and meat

The okonomiyaki was also covered in special sauce, which had just the right sweet-and-salty flavor and worked so well haha.

There were plump shrimp in it too, and it was really generously filled hahaha. I also loved that it stayed warm until the end because it was served on the griddle~

Adding the spicy sauce on the table cut through all the richness, so it went really well with it. Even if you add plenty, it isn't overly spicy, so definitely give it a try haha.

What does shio yakisoba taste like?

Yakisoba with the savory depth of salt and extra scallions

Shio yakisoba with scallions

We switched from karai yakisoba to shio, and I really recommend the shio too~ First of all, I loved that it had so many scallions. Eating the fragrant scallions with the noodles meant there was no heaviness at all, and I could taste the savory depth of the salt even more clearly!!

Shio yakisoba with beni shoga pickled ginger

It had a soft, jammy egg along with shrimp and squid, and it was so delicious with beni shoga (pickled ginger), which added a lovely fragrance!! Overall, it was light and savory—honestly much tastier than the yakisoba I had in Japan!

A Japanese set recommendation at Songdo Triple Street

I really recommend the Signature Set for Two at Jojo Triple Street Branch, which lets you have donpeiyaki, okonomiyaki, and yakisoba all at once! Everything was seasoned just right and so generously filled that I was hugely satisfied the whole time!! If you like Japanese food, I think this is a flavor everyone can enjoy without a miss haha. Next time, I definitely want to try the monjayaki cooked directly on the griddle~! I totally recommend Jojo as a great Japanese restaurant or date spot at Triple Street haha.
