Order kiosk at the front of the store

There's a kiosk at the front of the store, so I could look over the menu and order at my own pace.

Self-service bar with utensils, napkins, and water

There was also a self-service bar on one side — spoons and chopsticks, napkins, water, and even straws, so I could grab whatever I needed myself.

How many toppings are there, really?

Looking at the menu, there was a huge range of toppings — smoked duck, fried tofu, soy meat, shrimp and scallop, Atlantic salmon, char-grilled steak, beef brisket, and more. There were lighter options like grilled chicken thigh or pepper chicken breast, and combo bowls like Healthy All-in-One, Seafood All-in-One, and Meat All-in-One that let you try several toppings at once. Beyond poke bowls, there were also wraps, salads, and drinks, so you could choose anything from a light bite to a full meal depending on your mood!

When my poke bowl came out, it was packed with colorful vegetables and toppings that looked really appetizing.

The Meat All-in-One bibim poke, paired with sweet soy dressing

What I ordered was the Meat All-in-One bibim poke. It lets you enjoy sirloin steak, grilled bulgogi, and beef brisket all at once, along with 15 vegetables and superfoods, apparently.

I chose the brown rice and barley base, and since I wasn't sure which sauce would go best, I asked a staff member for a recommendation. They suggested the sweet soy dressing, which had a savory-sweet balance that went well with the meat, vegetables, and salad alike.

Best of all, I got to try three different meat toppings in one bowl!

Sirloin steak

The sirloin steak was light yet tender, with a clean meaty flavor that paired nicely with the vegetables!

Beef brisket

Of the three, the beef brisket had the most savory, rich flavor! Thinly grilled and paired with the brown rice and barley, it made everything taste even more savory.

Each of the three meats had its own charm, and mixing them with the vegetables and brown rice and barley kept the flavors clean throughout — I didn't get tired of it even after finishing the whole bowl.

What does the Green Cleanse juice taste like?

I also ordered the Green Cleanse juice! It's made with green grapes, kale, wheatgrass, apple, and lemon. Judging by the color, I expected a strong green-vegetable taste, but the sweet, tangy flavor of green grape and apple came through first. The lemon added a refreshing touch, and it paired really well with the poke bowl.

How was it for a Daehak-ro lunch?

Overall, Sallering Daehak-ro had a great variety of menu options, and I loved being able to customize toppings to my taste. The Meat All-in-One bibim poke I had that day was especially good — it let me enjoy meat and vegetables together, making for a meal that was hearty but not heavy.
