Today I'm sharing a review of Low Five Anguk, a great pizza spot to visit while exploring Bukchon. Anguk Station and Bukchon are places a lot of people in Seoul visit for dates or day trips. As you slowly wander the alleys full of hanok houses, you naturally start looking for somewhere delicious to eat, and this time I wanted something a bit more special and different than the usual pizza, so I visited Low Five Anguk. They have a variety of distinctive pizza menus, so it was fun just choosing what to order, and it was also a great place to fill up after looking around Bukchon.

Where is Low Five Anguk and what are its hours?

Low Five Anguk is located at 20-3 Bukchon-ro, 1F, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It's a 3-minute walk from Anguk Station Exit 2, so it's fairly accessible.

It's a good spot for anyone touring Bukchon Hanok Village or going on a date around Anguk Station. If you're planning a Bukchon outing like I was, it's worth remembering as a meal spot. There's plenty of Korean and traditional food around Bukchon, but sometimes you just want a change of pace with pizza or pasta, right?

I went past 1pm on a weekday and there was still a wait of 4 parties. By the time I left it was almost 2:30pm and there was still a wait. The seating isn't exactly small either, so this is clearly popular enough to have a wait all day — I'd definitely recommend booking through CatchTable before you go.

Which pizza should you order at Low Five Anguk?

Low Five Anguk has everything from classic pizzas to more unusual combinations on the menu.

So I ended up spending a while looking at the menu trying to decide what to order. Pepperoni or cheese pizza are always good, but since it was a special visit, I wanted to try something with more character. This time I ordered

• ✔️ Hot Chili Potato pizza

Both were slightly spicy pizzas, but the chili sauce heat and the taco heat were completely different.

First up is Low Five Anguk's taco pizza! The name alone made me curious about the flavor, and since I like tacos and Mexican food in general, I was even more excited.

The variety of toppings on top looked really appetizing, and it had a clearly different charm from a regular pizza. Each bite brought together different ingredients for a distinctive flavor — it felt like the exotic feel of tacos reimagined as pizza. I'd recommend it to anyone who's a bit tired of ordinary pizza or wants to try something new.

There were plump, generously sized cocktail shrimp on top, along with a taco sauce paired with onion, and one bite gave a clean but sharp spiciness that spread through my mouth, with a salty, savory flavor like actually eating a taco. If you're someone who prefers ordering a few different distinctive dishes to share rather than sticking to one flavor of pizza, this would be even more satisfying.

Hot chili potato pizza: creamy potato with a chili kick

The second item we ordered was the Hot Chili Potato pizza. Potato pizza is something almost everyone likes without much hesitation, and here the heat from the hot chili made it less greasy and cleaner to eat.

Pizza with potato on it can sometimes feel a bit heavy, but the spiciness from the hot chili kept it from getting tiresome all the way through. The hearty, fluffy texture of the potato, the chewy dough, and the spicy flavor all came together nicely. Even people who don't love very strong spice should be able to enjoy this one, and it has a different charm from a regular potato pizza. Personally, ordering it alongside the taco pizza meant the two had such different moods that switching between them was part of the fun.

In terms of spice level, the taco pizza is spicier, so if you don't handle spicy food well, go for the hot chili potato over the taco pizza; if you like spice and Mexican flavors, I'd recommend the taco pizza.

Bukchon is a place where wandering alley to alley is half the fun, so a lot of people come here for dates. Looking around Bukchon Hanok Village, stopping by a café, and finishing with a good meal makes for a really full day, and if you're looking for a Bukchon pizza spot, Low Five Anguk is a solid choice. It's good for days when you want something different from Korean or traditional food, and also works well for splitting a few dishes with friends. If you're planning a date around Anguk Station or a Bukchon outing, it's worth keeping in mind.
