Withwich

Today I went on a weekend morning lunch date with my partner to Withwich, a well-known spot in Namdong, Incheon. Actually, both of us had visited separately with different friends in the past, and we both had good memories of it, so we'd said, "Let's go together sometime!" This time we finally made it happen haha. Sometimes a place that was great on the first visit turns out to be a bit disappointing when you go back, so I was curious how this would go!

Withwich parking: are the 2 free hours real?

Withwich is located right in front of the rotary near Asiad in Namdong, so it was easy to find. You can park in the underground lot, and if you tell the staff, they'll give you 2 hours free.

Parking is always a bit of a worry when you drive somewhere, but with 2 free hours, it was easy to have lunch and leave without rushing.

Inside Withwich: atmosphere and seating

I liked the red-brick exterior right away! Inside, the restaurant wasn't huge, but it had 2-, 4-, and 6-person tables, and staff pushed tables together as needed. I'd visited once before with about 8 friends, and it was a good spot for a group meal like that too.

Since it's famous as a pasta restaurant in Namdong, more and more people kept coming in even though we arrived around 11am for an early lunch. By the time we left, the place was almost full — definitely living up to its reputation as a Namdong, Incheon favorite!

There were window seats too, with an open view and a waterfall visible to the left — nice to look at while eating. Overall the atmosphere was good, so I think it'd suit anyone looking for a lunch or brunch date spot in Namdong.

What's on the Withwich menu?

True to its name, Withwich also draws a lot of people who come for brunch sandwiches.

We came for lunch so we didn't get to try the sandwiches, but I'd love to come back for brunch next time! There was also a good variety of pasta and pizza, which was nice to have plenty of options.

There's a kiosk right on the right as you walk in, so ordering is easy, and there are popular set menus ready to choose based on how many people you have.

Withwich also felt like it kept improving. My partner and I have been coming here for a while, and apparently it received a Blue Ribbon award in 2026!!

Near the entrance there were autographs from various celebrities, lawmakers, and YouTubers on display, which was fun to look at.

Double Italian set for two: what you get and what it costs

We ordered with high expectations! The base Double Italian set for two at ₩41,800 comes with 1 pasta, 1 pizza, 1 side, and 2 drinks — pretty good value, right? We added a few upgrades to our order.

  • Rocket ricotta cheese pizza +₩4,700
  • House salad
  • Iced caffe latte +₩1,000
  • Green grape ade +₩1,000

With this order, the total came to ₩49,500.

They were also running a receipt review event, and gave us a free americano! If you drink coffee, it's worth doing the review to get one.

The food came out faster than I expected, and everything from the salad to the pizza looked generously portioned, which I liked.

House salad: is the set side big enough?

Withwich's house salad comes with salad greens, cherry tomatoes, and ricotta cheese, and the vegetables were genuinely fresh. The crunchy texture held up well and blended nicely with the soft ricotta cheese, making it easy to eat without feeling heavy. The dressing wasn't too heavy or sharp either, so it didn't overpower the fresh vegetable flavor!

The salad portion included in the set wasn't too much — just right. Sometimes you want a salad but ordering it as a standalone dish gives you way too much. In that sense, this was perfect as part of the set.

What does the arugula ricotta cheese pizza taste like?

The rocket ricotta cheese pizza was the one my partner and I both immediately agreed on: "Let's get this one for pizza!" I'd had this pizza before and remembered it being delicious. This time it was just as satisfying.

A whole rocket ricotta cheese pizza

Like the vegetables in the salad, the rocket (arugula) on top was fresh, and the crust was light yet had a subtle hint of basil from the basil pesto. As someone who loves basil, this was right up my alley!

On top of that, the sweetness of the drizzled honey and the soft, nutty flavor of the ricotta cheese blended together for a nice sweet-and-salty charm. It wasn't an overly salty pizza — you could really taste each ingredient individually, which made it even more enjoyable.

Beef brisket jjamppong pasta: how spicy is it?

Thinking a slightly spicy pasta would pair well with the pizza, I picked the woo samgyeop (beef belly) jjamppong pasta — and wow, this was a great pick! The tomato sauce base had the spicy, savory kick characteristic of jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) added to it, but it wasn't overwhelmingly hot — just the right amount of delicious spicy.

The beef belly had a subtle smoky char flavor, and eating it together with the mushrooms and noodles gave a nice texture. The tomato pasta's tanginess paired surprisingly well with the spicy kick of jjamppong. Taking a bite of pizza and then a bite of pasta cut through any richness — the combination was really great haha.

Personally, this was my favorite dish of the whole meal, so if you're looking for a good pasta restaurant in Namdong, I'd highly recommend the woo samgyeop jjamppong pasta.

The drinks were satisfying too. The iced caffe latte had a fairly strong, nutty coffee flavor that went well with the food, and since I was too full to finish it, I asked if I could take it to go — the staff kindly did that for me.

After finishing the meal, you just return your tray to the bus station and leave — staff cleared the table right away. Overall, the system from ordering to eating to bussing felt really well organized.

Is Withwich worth a second visit? Final verdict

Above all, I went back because of a good memory from before, and I was glad the flavors were just as good this time. The pizza especially had a great combination of light crust with basil, honey, and ricotta cheese, and the woo samgyeop jjamppong pasta was spicy with a nice smoky char, pairing really well with the pizza.

Parking is convenient and the menu is varied, so it's great for a date or a group of several people. Withwich in Namdong, Incheon delivered again on a revisit, and I'd confidently recommend it as a pasta spot in Namdong for anyone who likes a bit of spice :)
