Spicy chicken breast sandwich brunch set for two at Withwich, Namdong

In short

Withwich is a pasta and sandwich brunch restaurant in Namdong, Incheon, about a 1-minute drive from Gujeol Traders. Along with her husband, the writer ordered the With Brunch Best set for two plus a sliced baguette, getting ricotta cheese house salad, spicy chicken breast sandwich, carbonara cream pasta, lemonade and green grape ade. Portions were so generous the couple could barely finish everything, making it a solid pick for a day you want pasta and sandwiches in one sitting.

I went to Gujeol Traders in Incheon and was looking for somewhere nearby for lunch, so I stopped by Withwich, known as a pasta spot in Namdong. It's only about a 1-minute drive from Traders, so it was super convenient, and since you can get sandwiches and salad along with pasta, it also works well when you're looking for brunch in Namdong.

My husband and I ordered the With Brunch Best set for two, and the portions were so generous we left completely full — here's my review of this Namdong lunch spot 😊

Close to Traders — where to park

Withwich is about a 1-minute drive from Gujeol Traders, so it was great for stopping by after shopping there for a meal. You can park in basement level 2 of The Blue City building, and using the elevator at the very back of the parking lot makes it a bit easier to get up to the restaurant.

When I arrived at the entrance, there was a Blue Ribbon certification sticker on display outside. Seeing that this Namdong, Incheon restaurant had Blue Ribbon certification made me even more curious about the food :D It opens from 8am, so it's also great for anyone looking for early brunch in Namdong.

Spacious, clean interior

Once inside, the restaurant was bigger and cleaner than I expected. The wood-tone tables combined with a sky-like painted ceiling gave off a warm feel, and the floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of sunlight, so we grabbed a window seat.

Since it has an open kitchen, we could peek at the food being made, and the kitchen itself looked well kept. On one side there were several autographs from celebrities, which was fun to look at too :)

Self-serve bar and baby chairs

The self-serve bar had plates, forks, spoons, knives, napkins and wet wipes, plus hot sauce, parmesan cheese powder and pickles you could help yourself to as needed. Baby chairs were also available, so anyone visiting this Namdong, Incheon restaurant with kids should be able to use it comfortably too.

Menu signage for the With Brunch Best set for two

The set for two includes ricotta cheese house salad + 2 sandwiches + 1 pasta + 2 drinks, and you can choose whichever sandwich, pasta and drink you like, which was great for tailoring it to our taste.

We picked the ricotta cheese house salad, spicy chicken breast sandwich, carbonara cream pasta, lemonade and green grape ade. (Just a heads up, canned drinks can't be ordered as the set drink.) You order via kiosk, and there's also a physical menu, so it was easy to sit down, browse at leisure, and then order.

Coffee beans roasted in-house

Inside Withwich there was also a roasting machine — the owner roasts the beans himself and only uses beans within a month of roasting. The coffee seemed like it would be great, but since we'd already had coffee in the morning, we went with ade this time. Coffee lovers might want to order coffee along with their Namdong brunch.

A brunch that was generous from the start

When the food arrived, the portions were bigger than I expected. At first my husband and I wondered if we could finish it all, but it was so good we ended up eating almost everything 😊

We started with the sliced baguette. The bread wasn't too dry — soft and nutty, so it was good on its own, and dipping it in the balsamic olive sauce that came with it added a tangy kick that made it even better. We tried it a few different ways, piling on salad or dipping it into the pasta sauce.

The ricotta cheese house salad had ricotta cheese, corn, black olives, cherry tomatoes, roasted almonds and vegetables. The soft ricotta cheese with the crunchy vegetables was great as a side alongside the sandwich or pasta.

Spicy chicken breast sandwich

The sandwich looked pretty thick just from appearance. It was so packed with filling I wasn't sure it would fit in one bite — sous vide chicken breast seasoned with just salt and pepper, plus romaine, tomato, purple onion, cucumber, pickled onion, jalapeño and plenty of sauce.

The thick, well-filled spicy chicken breast sandwich

True to its name, the spicy chicken breast sandwich had sriracha sauce in it, giving it a slight kick. Thanks to the sriracha's heat, it wasn't heavy at all, and it paired well with the chicken and vegetables.

I also loved eating the sandwich together with the salad. I came looking for a pasta spot in Namdong, but the sandwich turned out to be surprisingly good too, so I'd love to try other sandwiches next time.

Carbonara that was even better for being so rich

As soon as the carbonara pasta arrived, the thick, rich cream sauce caught my eye. It also had plenty of bacon and mushrooms, so twirling it up with the noodles brought out a really nutty flavor.

Cream pasta can get too heavy sometimes, to the point you stop wanting more after a few bites, but this one was nutty without being overwhelming. I even ended up spooning up the leftover cream sauce at the end 😊 It made sense why people keep calling this a pasta spot in Namdong.

Having the sandwich and salad along with it meant we got to try a variety of dishes rather than just one pasta, so I think this would be great for families or couples looking for a restaurant in Namdong, Incheon.

Refreshing lemonade and green grape ade

The lemonade was tangy and refreshing, pairing well with the cream pasta. The green grape ade had bits inside that gave it a fun, poppy texture. Both were sweet and refreshing, great to drink alongside brunch :D

If I hadn't already had coffee in the morning, I probably would have ordered the in-house roasted coffee too. Next time I visit, I'd like to order coffee with a sandwich and enjoy brunch in Namdong.

If you want to enjoy a variety of dishes together

Visiting Withwich this time, I found a place where you can enjoy everything from sandwiches to salad to pasta. Ordering the brunch set for two in particular brought out a nice variety, so my husband and I could share different things, and the portions were generous enough to make for a filling meal.

It's close to Traders and has parking, so it was easy to plan around a day of grocery shopping. Since it opens early in the morning, it's also good for anyone wanting early brunch in Namdong, and it's substantial enough for a solid lunch too, so it's worth keeping in mind as a lunch spot in Namdong.

If you're in the mood for pasta and sandwiches together, or want a relaxed meal in a clean setting, this Namdong pasta spot Withwich is worth a visit. If you want to try a variety of Namdong brunch menu items, or want to share several dishes with your husband or a friend, the set for two is a great choice. If you're looking for a Namdong, Incheon restaurant where you can enjoy both pasta and sandwiches, keep this one in mind.
