Gangnam Station tiramisu café with kiosk ordering: Selected Nicks
In short
Selected Nicks is a large tiramisu café near Exit 3 of Gangnam Station in Seoul, filling every floor of its building from the basement to the 8th floor and rooftop. On a return visit, a newly installed kiosk made it easy to order classic tiramisu (7,800 won), a decaf americano and a tropical mango ade, and to compare the classic against the choco banana tiramisu tried last time. Portions at Selected Nicks are generous and the cream is rich but clean, making it an easy choice when you need a café in Gangnam.

This is the place that always pops up when you search for the best tiramisu near Gangnam Station! And it's right in Gangnam, so it's an easy call since it's such a big café (though it's basically always packed, haha).

Where is Selected Nicks and what is on each floor?
Selected Nicks is 323m from Exit 3 of Gangnam Station (Sinbundang Line) — you can get here faster by cutting through the building with the Tim Hortons in it!! This whole building is the café, from basement to the 8th floor, plus the rooftop!

Walk into the 1st floor and there's a mirror decorated with tiramisu — of course girls can't resist a mirror selfie there.

Once you're in, it's this huge space — you order here and then go find a seat. During peak hours I'd recommend grabbing a seat upstairs first and ordering after.

Tiramisu flavors and prices at Selected Nicks
So many tiramisu flavors, right? Really a lot!!

- Classic Tiramisu (₩7,800)
- Banana Tiramisu (₩7,800)
- Choco Banana Tiramisu (₩7,800)

- Pistachio Tiramisu (₩8,800)
- Raspberry Tiramisu (₩9,800)
- Strawberry Tiramisu (₩9,800)

- Carrot Tiramisu (₩9,800)
- Dubai Chewy Tiramisu (₩15,800)
So many kinds, right?? Wild.

Tray ordering before, a new kiosk this time
At Selected Nicks you normally pick a cardboard box of the flavor you want and carry it on a tray, but this time I noticed

there's a kiosk now!? So I skipped the tray and just ordered directly, haha. Last time I had the choco banana tiramisu, which came covered in dark choco chips, but I wasn't feeling chocolate today so I went classic instead.

Jellies and baked treats at Selected Nicks too
They also sell these fancy jellies I've never seen before — kids would totally lose it haha.

And of course they sell baked goods too.

A whole financier lineup

Madeleines, cookies, and even brownies! But since this is a tiramisu specialty spot, I'd still recommend the tiramisu if you're not too full!!!

Oh, they also sell set menus! And there were weekday discount events too!! Gangnam office workers, come crush a dessert on your lunch break!?
Only one elevator: take the stairs to the lower floors
There's only one elevator running from basement to the rooftop floor, so you can end up waiting a while (Koreans, famously bad at waiting). I was headed to the 2nd floor so I just booked it up the stairs, haha. If you're impatient like me, take the stairs — good for your health too, right? Haha.

What we ordered and how the prices compare in Gangnam
We ordered classic tiramisu (₩7,800), decaf americano (₩7,000), and tropical mango ade (₩7,500). For a large café it felt affordably priced, and even reasonable by Gangnam standards, so when I can't be bothered searching for a café in Gangnam, I end up coming back here a lot, haha.

The tiramisu portions here are seriously generous, which I love so much haha, no need to eyeball each other's slices with a friend anymore.

Classic tiramisu vs choco banana tiramisu: which to pick
The classic tiramisu's cream is rich and weighty without being the kind that coats your teeth and tongue — it's rich but clean, so it's genuinely delicious!! Comparing classic to choco banana, I'm a vanilla person so classic won for me.
Oh, and that cocoa powder made me cough less than usual! I think because the particles were a bit coarser, I could eat it comfortably without coughing, haha. It had a bit of that Jetti-chocolate-drink vibe and was pretty solid.
The choco banana had chocolate cream too, but with so many layers of banana that fruit-plus-chocolate lovers would probably prefer the choco tiramisu. It's really just a matter of taste though.
A big Gangnam café for laptop work or catching up
If you want dessert around Yeoksam or Gangnam Station, I'd recommend Selected Nicks — it's a big café so you don't have to worry about being loud while chatting, and there are single-seat tables with outlets that are great for working too, bb.
