Seocho Japanese restaurant for warm mixed udon: Kosi Gyodae
In short
Kosi Gyodae Branch is a Japanese restaurant near Gyodae Station in Seocho, Seoul, serving house-made udon. I ordered warm mixed udon and loved the bouncy noodles with its moist special sauce. Verdict: a deeply satisfying bowl for anyone craving chewy udon noodles.

House-made udon near Gyodae Station
I was searching for a place where I could really appreciate great noodles and found Kosi Gyodae Branch, a handmade, house-made noodle spot known for tonkatsu near Gyodae Station in Seocho-dong. So of course I went in to try it! (๑˙ꄃ˙๑)♡⃛ I'm quite serious about udon, so whenever I find a delicious-looking place, I absolutely have to go!

Kosi Gyodae Branch is near Gyodae Station, so it was super easy to find, which I loved! Just get off at the station and walk a little way down an alley, and the neat-looking restaurant comes right into view. So accessible and convenient!

Once you're seated, you can order through the kiosk like this!

A spacious, spotless dining room
When I stepped inside Kosi Gyodae Branch, I was greeted by a space that was much bigger and cleaner than I expected! It was comfortable and open, making it such a nice place to eat ( •̀ω•́ )✧ The tables were well spaced too, so I could relax without feeling cramped at all!
The staff gave me such a kind welcome, so I felt great from the moment I walked in! They offer both takeaway and delivery, so I would strongly recommend it to nearby office workers or anyone who wants to enjoy it comfortably at home too. ٩(๑❛❛๑)۶ Best of all, the big highlight here is that the noodles are made in-house!

Noodles made fresh every day
I heard they make the noodles themselves every morning using only salt water and flour, and I was so impressed by that care! (๑'ᵕ'๑)♡⃛
Knowing Kosi Gyodae Branch puts so much care into its dough, I was bursting with anticipation for the noodles even before the food arrived! Looking over the menu, I ordered the warm mixed udon that caught my eye the most. ( ⁎ᵕᴗᵕ⁎ )❤︎

Warm mixed udon to stir together
The warm mixed udon finally arrived, and I couldn't help but gasp at how good it looked!

Kosi Gyodae Branch's warm udon is meant to be mixed together and eaten warm, which is unusual and made it even more tempting. I was really glad I chose it! (๑˙ꄃ˙๑)♡⃛

I gave the noodles a quick stir with my chopsticks and took a big bite! They were seriously so chewy, with this wonderfully bouncy bite in my mouth—it was truly a work of art. ( •̀ω•́ )✧

Maybe because they knead and make the noodles fresh with salt water and flour every morning, they were on a whole different level from ordinary udon! There was none of that powdery flour taste; the more I chewed, the more nutty flavor came through. ٩(ˊퟠ*)o

Kosi Gyodae Branch's special seasoning sauce soaked nicely into the noodles too, with just the right level of seasoning! The savory sauce and warm, springy noodles worked together so perfectly that I kept exclaiming the whole time. (๑'ᵕ'๑)♡⃛

It wasn't overpowering, yet it had such an irresistible flavor that I finished every last strand! It was a distinctive dish with deep flavor that drew me in more and more as I ate. ( ⁎ᵕᴗᵕ⁎ )❤︎
It sat comfortably in my stomach while still leaving me nicely full, so I was even more satisfied than I expected! I keep thinking about those satisfyingly chewy noodles as I write this, and I'm already promising myself another visit soon. (๑˙ꄃ˙๑)♡⃛

The spacious, tidy dining room and kind service made the meal feel even more special! If you love udon, this is a place you absolutely need to put on your list. ( •̀ω•́ )✧

It was such a thoughtfully made meal that I want to try it as takeaway or delivery next time too! Kosi Gyodae Branch showed me the true charm of house-made udon. ٩(๑❛침❛๑)۶
