This time, I went to visit my younger sister, who is heavily pregnant and due soon! I live in Daegu while my sister lives in Cheonan, about an hour to an hour and a half away, but transportation is so good these days that I got there in no time on the KTX 😁 I was so busy getting there that I skipped lunch and arrived in a total rush. Then I heard there was a delicious pork cutlet spot in Sinbuldang-dong near Cheonan-Asan Station, so I ordered ahead, comfortably caught a ride in my brother-in-law’s car, and picked up some takeout, haha. The place was Jinsim Wang Donkatsu (진심왕돈까스)!

Menu, from giant pork cutlets to udon sets

Here is the menu at this restaurant near Cheonan-Asan Station. There was an amazing range, including the one-person half-and-half udon set, giant pork cutlet, giant double pork cutlet, sweet potato pork cutlet, jjolmyeon (spicy chewy noodles), noodle dishes, and sides! Most dishes were priced from ₩10,000 through the high ₩10,000s, so it felt like good value.
Giant pork cutlet enjoyed as takeout

Oh wow... I thought, surely it can’t be that much food?! But the bag was seriously heavy, so there was quite a lot! The car filled with the savory smell of pork cutlet, and my niece started fussing away... 🥲 Luckily, home was close, so we opened it up as soon as we arrived! Takeout is available, and delivery is available nearby too, so it seems perfect after work or for lunch and dinner.
Separately packed side dishes and soup

This restaurant near Cheonan-Asan Station served a menu that was beyond generous—truly abundant. First of all, the side dishes were packed separately from the pork cutlet, so even if there were leftovers, each item could be stored on its own, and the pork cutlet did not get soggy. They gave us plenty of soup, kimchi, danmuji (pickled radish), rice, salad, and sauce!
The crispiness of a face-sized giant pork cutlet

I was going to cut it with a knife, but it was so huge that my brother-in-law cut it with scissors... hahaha. This giant pork cutlet was literally about the size of a person’s face—absolutely enormous 👀

Maybe because it had just been fried, it was incredibly crisp. The coating was thin, the meat was a good thickness, and the sauce had a slight fruity aroma that went really well with it!

And my three-year-old niece ate it really well too. It was more clean-tasting than greasy, with a crisp texture in every bite and juices filling your mouth... Do you like pork cutlets?! 👍🙄 It reminded me of that Swings meme... haha. I had no idea there was a place like this near Cheonan-Asan Station...
Enough left over after feeding three adults

It was as if the pork cutlets were multiplying—no matter how much we ate, the food never seemed to end, and there were leftovers even after three adults and one baby ate! We even stored the rest separately in the refrigerator, and it was perfect reheated in the microwave the next day. I think it would be an ideal menu item for one person to eat generously too! How about giant pork cutlet from this restaurant near Cheonan-Asan Station for tomorrow’s lunch?
