A vintage shop we'd recommend for a Gogiri, Yongin date

Here's our review of TOKYO USED Flagship Store, which we'd recommend for a date course in Gogiri, Yongin. You know how weekends usually go — eat, hit a café, go shopping, pretty much the same routine every time? This store used to be in Seongsu, the hottest neighborhood in Seoul, and when we heard it had expanded and moved to Yongin, we immediately marked it down for our weekend date.

Fitting for such a large store, there's a parking lot in the basement, so we parked without any stress and headed in.

The vibe inside this Yongin vintage shop
We normally love browsing vintage shops and have been to quite a few. This Yongin vintage shop, TOKYO USED, was pretty large to begin with, and more than anything, the clothes and accessories were arranged neatly, which made it really comfortable to browse.
Usually when you think 'vintage shop,' you picture clothes crammed tightly onto racks, kind of a busy, cluttered mood. But here everything was so well organized that it felt more like a stylish curated boutique than a typical vintage shop. The store was spacious with plenty of room to move around, so it was easy to take our time looking at everything piece by piece.

The first thing that caught our eye right at the entrance was a rainbow of polo-style shirts on display. Hung neatly by color, they were honestly a treat just to look at. Since I usually love oxford-fabric shirts, I went in determined to find one today — and treasure hunt: success.

Glasses and sunglasses for ₩19,000–39,000
I also happen to love glasses and sunglasses, and they had such a wide variety here that I scored another treasure-hunt win. Prices were friendly too, around ₩19,000–39,000.

Browsing the floor 1 men's, luxury, and accessories corner
Today's purchases Tommy shirt ₩35,000 Gold eyeglass frames ₩29,000
Floor 1 of TOKYO USED Flagship Store, one of our picks for things to do in Gogiri, had a luxury corner, a men's clothing corner, an accessories corner, and a variety of jeans.

The Comme des Garçons x Converse collab sneakers were tempting at just ₩99,000, but they were on the heavy side so we passed. There was also a nice range of luxury bags and accessories you don't usually get to see up close, so just browsing was fun in itself.

No talk of vintage clothing would be complete without Levi's jeans, and they had those too, in a range of designs and sizes, priced around ₩69,000.

If they'd had piercings I would have wanted to buy one of those too, but on the day we visited there were mostly necklaces.

The fitting rooms were spacious and clean too.

Floor 2 women's wear: blouses in the ₩20,000s, dresses in the ₩30,000s
Now let's head up to floor 2, which was mostly women's clothing.

I went to Da Nang, Vietnam not long ago, and if I'd visited this place before that trip, I probably would have bought up half the floor. The styles ranged from lovely to modern. Blouses were in the ₩20,000s and dresses in the ₩30,000s.
There was one dress I agonized over and ended up not buying — looking back now, I kind of wish I'd gotten it. Paired with a black inner top it would've had that perfect autumn feel. A little disappointed I passed on it.

Our final purchases: the Tommy shirt and gold-frame glasses
After browsing every corner of floor 2, here are the two items we ended up buying. The oxford-fabric Tommy shirt has a casual feel, perfect for pairing with shorts in weather like this, but it should also go well with chinos or jeans in general.

The gold-frame glasses we picked out together seemed like the kind of piece that would bring out a calm yet smart look for the coming autumn.

It's close to Bundang too, so we'd recommend TOKYO USED Flagship Store as a Bundang date spot as well. The Gogiri area of Yongin is already a popular date course thanks to Gogiri Makguksu and even the Gogiri Starbucks — adding a bit of vintage shopping into the mix seems like a great way to make the day a little more memorable.
