Pork belly restaurant near Jongno3-ga with six sauces: Cham Dwaejitgan
In short
Cham Dwaejitgan Jongno Main Branch is a pork belly restaurant on the 1st floor of the Piccadilly Plus CGV building by Jongno3-ga Station in Jongno, Seoul. With no appetite one day, the writer ordered 2 servings of cham samgyeopsal (pork belly), 1 serving of pork neck and steamed rice, and staff at Cham Dwaejitgan grilled and cut almost all of it, so eating was the only job left — six dipping sauces and potato wraps cleared the plate. An easy pick for days you don't want to grill and for work dinners in Jongno.

I was looking for somewhere to eat meat in Jongno and ended up at Cham Dwaejitgan Jongno Main Branch!
It's close to Exit 2 and Exit 2-1 of Jongno3-ga Station, so it was easy to find, and since it's on the 1st floor of the Piccadilly CGV building, it's also a handy meeting spot — this Jongno3-ga pork belly place worked well on both counts.
Where is Cham Dwaejitgan Jongno Main Branch, and what is it like inside?
Cham Dwaejitgan Jongno Main Branch is on the 1st floor of Piccadilly Plus CGV, near Exit 2 and Exit 2-1 of Jongno3-ga Station. It's open daily from 12:00 to 23:00.

The location has good access for office workers around Jongno, so a lot of people seemed to come here for work dinners haha. When I visited there were plenty of people already eating, and overall it had a lively Korean BBQ vibe!
What we ordered: 2 servings of pork belly and 1 of pork neck
What I ordered that day at Cham Dwaejitgan Jongno Main Branch was 2 servings of cham samgyeopsal (pork belly), 1 serving of pork neck, and steamed rice.

I ordered 2 servings of pork belly, 1 serving of pork neck, and rice on top of that this time.

I honestly didn't have much appetite that day and wasn't planning to eat a lot, but once the meat came out and started grilling, my whole mindset changed... In the end I cleaned up 2 servings of pork belly, 1 of pork neck, and the rice too haha

There were several dipping sauces set out for the meat — six kinds, actually — so it was fun trying each one. The same meat tasted a bit different depending on the sauce, so I kept mixing and matching!
How does the staff grilling service at Cham Dwaejitgan work?
The most convenient part of Cham Dwaejitgan Jongno Main Branch was the grilling service. It wasn't a super busy time when I visited, so the staff grilled almost everything for me — cooking and cutting both the pork belly and pork neck into bite-sized pieces — so I could just sit and eat as soon as it was ready.

When you grill your own meat, conversation gets interrupted by flipping and you're constantly worried about burning it, but here I didn't have to worry about any of that thanks to the grilling service. It seemed especially handy for a group, so this would work well as a Jongno work-dinner spot.

There were also free (₩0) extras for people worried about meat smell clinging to their clothes — clothing-storage bags, deodorizer, floss, hair ties. They even had kids' tableware and candy on hand, and I thought it was a nice touch that these small details were covered!
How the pork belly and pork neck taste with the potato wraps
The pork belly at Cham Dwaejitgan Jongno Main Branch had a nutty flavor that really came through once grilled, with juicy, moist meat, and the pork neck wasn't dry either. Even on a day with no appetite, I finished 2 servings of pork belly, 1 of pork neck, and the rice.

I really had no appetite going in, so I was surprised at how good the meat turned out to be. At first I only planned to eat 2 servings of pork belly with some rice, but I ended up adding the pork neck too and finished it all...

The pork belly had that nutty flavor come through once grilled, with juicy meat, and rotating through the six sauces meant I kept reaching for more. The pork neck grilled up well without feeling dry, so it was a good follow-up after the pork belly!

Since the staff grilled it themselves, I didn't have to worry about the meat being overcooked or undercooked, which was really convenient.

Something that stuck with me from Cham Dwaejitgan was the potato wrap. It's thinly grilled potato you wrap the meat in, which gives a different feel from the usual lettuce wrap — switching to potato wraps between bites of meat worked surprisingly well.

Putting the meat in a potato wrap with various toppings was its own little treat, and by the time I finished off the rice too, I'd had a genuinely satisfying meal.
Is Cham Dwaejitgan worth it for Korean BBQ in Jongno?
If you're craving pork belly in Jongno and searching for a Jongno pork belly restaurant, a Jongno3-ga pork belly place, or somewhere near Jongno3-ga Station, this is worth a visit.
It's especially good if grilling your own meat feels like a hassle, or if you're eating with a group like a work dinner and want to focus on talking — the grilling service made this Jongno Korean BBQ spot that much easier to enjoy!
