On the weekend, after a fun round of shopping at the nearby E-mart Traders, I found the perfect place to handle a great meal and post-meal coffee all in one stop.

Right as you step into Withwich, located near Gusan Seonsuchon Rotary, the bright warm wood-tone interior instantly puts you at ease. On one side of the store there's a beautiful mural that makes you feel like you've wandered into a quiet Mediterranean neighborhood — I really loved that exotic atmosphere ^^

Tables are mostly for 2–4 people, with a generous total of about 40–50 seats, so it works fine whether you're eating solo, on a date, or with family. You can easily order for dine-in or takeout from the kiosk near the entrance, and the neatly organized self-serve bar has cutlery, tissues, and pickles ready to grab — a thoughtful touch at this Namdong, Incheon restaurant.

Brunch Best Set for Two: carbonara and 10 slices of baguette

We ordered the 'Withwich Brunch Best Set for Two,' which lets you enjoy pasta, a sandwich, salad, and a drink all at once. The 'carbonara' we picked from the pasta options was a textbook example of the rich, creamy sauce that Korean diners love ^^ Thin, chewy noodles came loaded with plenty of button mushrooms and bacon.

Pairing it with the sliced baguette included in the set made it absolutely perfect. The baguette comes in a generous 10 slices, baked crispy outside and moist inside.

Dipping the bread deep into the carbonara's loose, generous cream sauce was seriously an insane combination ^^ You can also dip it into the balsamic olive oil served alongside for even more variety — I really felt the might of this genuine Gusan-dong pasta spot.

For the sandwich, I chose the new menu item, the 'Truffle Shrimp Sandwich.' The moment you take a big bite, the luxurious flavor unique to truffle spreads richly through your mouth, and the texture of biting into several big, plump whole shrimp was excellent ^^ It's packed to bursting with fresh vegetables like red onion, tomato, and lettuce, striking a balance of freshness and heartiness at this Namdong, Incheon restaurant.

What impressed me as much as the food was the quality of the drinks. Apparently the owner is truly passionate about coffee beans — they've set up a dedicated 'roasting room' inside the store and roast the beans themselves on a regular basis.

The grapefruit ade, bittersweet and refreshing with real pulp, was great, but especially my friend who had the decaf americano gave a huge thumbs up, saying it was hands down the best decaf they'd ever had, praising its incredible flavor ^^ You can perfectly wrap up a meal with high-quality after-meal coffee all in one place.

The sandwich turned out to be much bigger and more generously filled than expected, so we had half left over. When I carefully asked staff to pack it, they wrapped it up neatly and beautifully in a dedicated container, leaving me with a great feeling right to the end ^^

The restrooms in the building were also kept very clean, and the location made for a perfect route — shop at the nearby E-mart Traders and then handle dinner deliciously right after. This is a Namdong, Incheon restaurant that made me determined to come back next time to try the reportedly super popular spicy perilla leaf bulgogi sandwich and the pizza too.

Parking tip

Finding a restaurant with ample parking in Gusan-dong is tough, right? At Withwich, you can comfortably use the free underground level 2 commercial lot at the Gusan Seonsuchon The Blue City building! There are two elevators, but if you take the one furthest inside the parking lot, you'll get up to the restaurant much faster and more conveniently — definitely a tip worth remembering ^^
