Weekend outlet shopping, with a time sale too

Weekends are for shopping, so off to Shinsegae Outlet we went. We hadn't browsed in a while, so we made the trip out to Gijang! Outlet shopping really hits different on weekends haha. There was a time sale running too, so we snagged things cheaper than usual. Seems like they run a lot of events on weekends.

Browsing around, we got hungry before we knew it, so we looked for a good spot nearby for lunch. A pizza kind of day!!

Lunch today: Bueokgan! Shopping plus a good lunch — felt like a proper weekend outing.

No wait, and the atmosphere inside

We visited just a bit past the lunch rush, so luckily we got seated right away with no wait. The atmosphere was nice, the food was good, and we could eat at a relaxed pace — even more comfortable that way.

The drink menu had a nice variety, so it was easy to pick something to your taste. From coffee to ades to sodas — good to pair with the food too.

Started with a cold drink first. Tired from shopping, but we did score some good finds — cheers to that before anything else.

Warm and smooth, easy on the stomach, and sweet enough that kids would probably enjoy it too. Filling up on this would be a problem... but it was so smooth and delicious we finished it in no time.

Albaechu Caesar salad ₩16,000 — how does the best menu item taste?

Albaechu (young napa cabbage) Caesar salad, ₩16,000. They say it's the best menu item — can't skip that haha. I'd wanted to try this for a while, so I finally ordered it! Curious how a Caesar salad made with albaechu would taste.

The albaechu came out whole, so the look alone was different from the usual salad. Crunchy, slightly sweet cabbage paired with a nutty, tangy Caesar dressing made for a refreshing bite.

The albaechu itself is sweet and the dressing is tangy, so the combo is really refreshing. It matched better than I expected, and I kept reaching for more haha.

Pepperoni pizza ₩17,000 — why it exceeded expectations

Pepperoni pizza, ₩17,000. Not a single bare spot — pepperoni packed edge to edge, looking delicious just from the sight of it.

Honestly, I didn't expect much. But it was loaded with cheese and packed with pepperoni, and it turned out way tastier than expected.

The pizza was much tastier than we expected, and the two of us really enjoyed it. Loaded with pepperoni, we finished it down to the last slice haha.

Honestly, this pepperoni pizza was tastier than expected. If you like pepperoni, I'd definitely recommend it!

Eating the pizza crust together with the albaechu Caesar salad added a refreshing touch that cut the richness — even tastier that way.

How was it as a post-shopping lunch?

We scored some finds at Shinsegae Outlet and enjoyed a really good lunch too. The atmosphere was nice and every dish was tasty, making it a great stop for a meal after shopping. It's also a great place to visit with kids. The relaxed, comfortable atmosphere made it easy for a family to eat well together. If you're looking for a good lunch spot around Gijang, I'd recommend Bueokgan!
