Haeundae restaurant for romaine salad and pizza: Smith's Farm

I was looking for somewhere in Haeundae where I could enjoy both a delicious meal and a great atmosphere, so I visited Smith's Farm :) A place in Haeundae that nails both the food and the mood! I loved that it was perfect for a leisurely meal and a date, haha.

A great atmosphere for a Haeundae date

As soon as I walked in, the space felt comfortable yet stylish~ It wasn’t overly formal, so it was easy to relax over a meal, and it was nice for chatting leisurely on a date too, haha. It would be great for sharing several dishes with friends, and the atmosphere suited a meal with your partner as well 💛

We wanted to try something a little different, so we ordered the grilled octopus steak, Margherita pizza, romaine salad, and Smith Lemon beer, haha.

Look at this, haha. They really commit to the concept, lol. Even the bill comes like this—so cute, haha. Let’s look at everything one by one~

Smith Lemon draft beer and romaine salad

Can you see that icy slush frozen across the beer? I couldn’t even imagine how cold it would be, haha. It was really chilled and refreshing, which made it even better!

And the romaine salad~~! We ordered it alongside the mains~ I planned to have the crisp romaine with the pizza and steak to freshen up my palate, but!

I took a photo of it being there, then being gone, before the other dishes even came out, haha. The sauce is seriously the key! I really don’t usually like green, healthy-looking food, you know? But it was so delicious that I cleaned the plate!

Tender grilled octopus steak

The octopus was grilled beautifully, so it kept its pleasantly chewy texture while tasting clean and nutty, haha. It felt extra special because it was different from an ordinary steak, and I think anyone who usually loves octopus would enjoy it~

Seriously, this is an absolute must! The octopus really melts in your mouth! It’s not the octopus I thought I knew! I was so shocked by how tender it was!

I already want to go back for the octopus, haha. It was so tender that slicing it was smoooooth~~!

There was such a nice variety of vegetables too! Napa cabbage, mushrooms, zucchini, broccoli, tomatoes, and more—it was all so good that I ate every bit, really! Haha. Oh, and the octopus steak sauce was absolutely amazing too! I kept saying while we ate that Smith's Farm really knows how to make sauce, haha.

Margherita pizza that paired well with the octopus steak

With its simple blend of tomato sauce and cheese, it was great alongside the other dishes~ It was especially nice alternating it with the grilled octopus steak, because the flavors never got repetitive, haha. I loved all that olive oil, haha, and all that cheese—so good, haha.

There was so much that I asked to take some away ㅠ I had it with beer back at the hotel, and it was delicious even cold!

Even complimentary banana brûlée

“Do you like bananas?” asked a handsome staff member~~ Oh gosh, I don’t know if I should say that, hahaha. But all the staff here are handsome... honestly, haha. A feast for the eyes~~

That handsome person gave us banana brûlée on the house, haha. Sweet banana with the signature crisp brûlée texture was just right for dessert, haha. After such a filling meal, ending with something sweet made me happy right to the finish 💛 Such great thoughtfulness! Haha.

They’ve won so many awards too! The taste is absolutely guaranteed! It’s one of those great Busan restaurants that makes you curious about all the other dishes as well!

They even packed it up beautifully, haha. You know how eating something truly delicious just puts you in a good mood~ I was so happy, haha.
