A Haeundae hair salon I visited for my mother-in-law’s hair care

Today, instead of a restaurant story, I brought you something a little special. It was the day I took my mother-in-law to Eco Revi Hair & Spa (에코레비헤어앤스파), a Haeundae hair salon. I’d always been concerned about how frizzy her hair looked, so I finally booked her a Silk Botox treatment.

Eco Revi Hair & Spa Haeundae Centum Branch: location and parking

It’s on the first floor of Haeundae Centum Hotel at 20 Centum 3-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan. It is 90 m from Exit 3 of Centum City Station and is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. There is also a spacious parking garage extending down to the hotel’s B5 level, with four hours of free parking.

Among Haeundae hair salons, this one was especially easy to find since it is on the hotel’s first floor! Haha. It seemed like plenty of Centum Hotel guests make reservations here too, haha.

It was quiet and calm, so Mother felt comfortable, and that put me at ease too. She could have the treatment in a private room, without worrying about the next chair, and simply relax.

Choosing the Silk Clinic after a scalp-camera consultation

First, they examined her scalp with a scalp camera in the consultation room. They went through her scalp condition point by point and tailored the care plan. I don’t think there is another Haeundae hair salon that checks even details like this, haha. My mother-in-law has gray hair, but a healthy scalp, haha. So rather than a deep scalp clinic, they recommended the Silk Clinic for her hair.

The treatment Mother received this time was Silk Botox. They said they use a product made with Eco Revi plant stem cells and containing an ingredient that received a Nobel Prize in Medicine, which made me trust it even more. They explained that it is a multilayer method that restores the inside of the hair rather than simply coating it, and then I understood why they worked so carefully.

The treatment had three steps in total. In step one, they sprayed on a base toner to strengthen fine hair; in step two, a hair mask; and in step three, a cuticle-protecting mask. They did each one carefully in order, haha.

Because they did it step by step like this, it took a little over two hours.

After everything was done, they even gave her a hair and neck massage, then finished with a neat blow-dry, so it felt like a really full service 🤍🤍

The Silk Botox finish that pleased my mother-in-law

Once the treatment was over, Mother looked in the mirror and was really happy. Her normally dry, limp hair was noticeably softer and had its shine back—you could tell at a glance, haha.

I told her she looked 10 years younger, and she smiled and loved hearing it. (Doing filial duty by proxy....) It was such a satisfying day for me too. (Will my husband notice..? Haha)

I have visited many Haeundae hair salons, but it had been a long time since Mother was this satisfied, so I was happy too.
