Today's review

Every seat is a room — how's the soundproofing?

The whole place is made up of private rooms and the soundproofing is quite good, so it's really quiet. The best choice when you don't feel like going to a loud bar
Basic side dishes and sashimi soy sauce

The basic side dishes that come out when you order

When you order sashimi, staff prepare a soy sauce for it — Tomo is known for its sashimi, so make sure to try it!
Complimentary clam sool-jjim from the reservation service

If you visit after making a reservation, you can pick either takowasabi (seasoned octopus) or clam sool-jjim (clams steamed in broth) — I don't like takowasabi so I went with the clam sool-jjim (♥)
They said it was complimentary, but look at that portion size
12-kind sashimi and amaebi

I was debating between sashimi and amaebi (sweet shrimp), and the menu had exactly the combination I wanted, so I ordered it right away

They fried the shrimp heads for us. I don't eat them so Yoon-i ate them all

The sweet shrimp was rich and the sashimi quality was great. And on top of that the plating was pretty, which made it even more satisfying

The aged kimchi and pickled radish were both in good condition, and you can add gamtae (seaweed) and gim (dried seaweed) via the kiosk

They even had the tamagoyaki (Japanese egg roll) we love, plus okra for decoration

It's hard to find a room bar around Seoul National Univ. Station, but the atmosphere was great and the food quality was great too, so I was very satisfied
The good and the not-so-good
The private rooms make it a nice quiet bar. There's a good variety of dishes so it should work fine even with a large group! The sashimi especially is a must-try. It's also easy to access, near Seoul National Univ. Station and Sharosu-gil
Drawbacks: none
