We visited Neopttakjip Samsong Branch with our two-year-old this time, and I was even more pleased because she ate the meat really well. Eating out with a toddler often means worrying about the type of food or its texture, but since she ate well this time, we could relax and enjoy the meal ourselves.

The restaurant itself is fairly spacious and has a room, so it seemed like a good spot for family gatherings or larger groups too. That said, the room was fully booked on the day we visited, so next time I think it'd be smart to check ahead or make a reservation before going, haha.

Piling a slice of meat with aged kimchi and taking a sip alongside it felt like a perfect pairing.
