Yangsan Mulgeum dinner date restaurant for lasagna: Bueokgan
In short
Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is a European-style Western restaurant on the basement floor of Oslo Park in Mulgeum, Yangsan, Gyeongnam. On a weekday evening, the writer and her husband took a window table and shared shrimp rosé pasta, lasagna and a soft drink, then finished with a cold brew. Between the arched ceiling inspired by Sweden's national art museum and food that holds up, Bueokgan is a solid pick for a night when you want both atmosphere and taste.

Inside Oslo Park in Mulgeum, Yangsan, there are quite a few good restaurants...

And among them, we're regulars at Bueokgan Restaurant, the one serving European-style dishes.

You know that feeling when you occasionally want good Western food in a nice atmosphere? That's when my husband and I head to Bueokgan at Oslo Park and enjoy delicious pasta, pizza, risotto and more.
Parking at Oslo Park and finding the entrance
Oslo Park's own mall parking facility is well set up, so it's easy to dine here without worries. If you're near Mulgeum or Beomeo you can just walk over, but even if you drive, parking is no hassle at all.
After parking on B1, head toward the main plaza inside Oslo Park and you'll find Bueokgan Restaurant right there!
Even the exterior has a modern, upscale, polished mood, making it the perfect spot for a date dinner 🫶🏻
We came for what felt like a casual neighborhood outing, but the atmosphere made it feel like a proper weekday evening date with my husband ☺️
Inside Bueokgan Yangsan Oslo Park: arched ceiling and European decor
Inside, Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is decorated cleanly in white tones, and the first thing that catches your eye is the distinctive arched ceiling. Once you step inside, you get a completely different mood from the exterior.
Every time I come here I think the same thing — Bueokgan's interior is really something else ❤️

They say the space was designed inspired by Sweden's national art museum, and that explains why it feels so exotic.

It's a stylish, refined space unlike anything else in the area, so I keep coming back to Bueokgan whenever I'm craving Western food!
We've also visited the Bueokgan Restaurant location in Gijang, Busan, which had great interiors too, but the Yangsan Oslo Park branch also impresses with its high ceilings and stylish space.
The interior is spacious with lots of tables, and every corner is styled with props that fit the European look, so you can enjoy a good atmosphere no matter where you sit.

The vintage furniture and various objects, apparently sourced directly from Europe, each have their own character, making the space feel even more special and sophisticated.

Window seats with a view over the Oslo Park plaza
Today we sat at a table near the window — this spot looks out onto the plaza, so it was fun watching people pass by outside.
Between the view and people-watching, waiting for the food wasn't boring at all!

What we ordered at Bueokgan: shrimp rosé pasta and lasagna
We ordered shrimp rosé pasta, lasagna, and a soft drink!
Besides pasta and lasagna, Bueokgan has all kinds of Western dishes ready — pizza, steak, risotto, pilaf, fries, salads, soups — so it can satisfy everyone's different tastes when you come with a group.
The portions are generous enough to share, so each person can order what they want and everyone gets to taste a variety.

Shrimp rosé pasta: how does it taste?
Bueokgan Restaurant's shrimp rosé pasta has a thick, smooth rosé sauce clinging richly to the noodles, well-seasoned with a deep umami flavor — tasted exactly as good as I remembered 🧡
Plump shrimp were generously added too, great to eat alongside the noodles. With mushrooms piled in as well, there was plenty to pick through, making it more filling.
The rich flavor carried through to the last bite, so I finished the whole bowl in no time. That magical rosé sauce really does make you scrape the plate clean! 🥫🍝

It's a pasta that tastes consistently great every time I visit. Bueokgan's rosé pasta seems to have the golden ratio of tomato sauce to cream sauce!
The freshness of tomato and the nutty richness of cream balance out perfectly, so unlike other places it never feels heavy — you can enjoy it without getting sick of it, right to the last bite.
Oil-based pasta is great too, of course, but for the same price I'd personally go for the shrimp rosé pasta loaded with shrimp and mushrooms haha. If you like rosé pasta, this one's guaranteed to hit the spot!

Lasagna at Bueokgan Yangsan
Whenever we go to any Western restaurant, my husband always checks the menu for lasagna first. That's how much it's his all-time favorite Western dish — and Bueokgan's lasagna hit the spot perfectly! 🫶🏻

The layered noodles were well cooked, and the rich meat sauce loaded with ground meat was so much better quality than what he's had elsewhere, he said 🥰

Places with pretty interiors sometimes disappoint on food quality, but Bueokgan satisfies on both the space and the food, which makes me like it even more.

Can you bring kids to Bueokgan Yangsan Oslo Park?
Another plus is that Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is a cozy, comfortable yes-kids-zone with a high chair available!
Stylish interiors pleased the eyes, and delicious Western dishes pleased the palate — Bueokgan really delivers on both!

After the meal, we finished things off properly with a cold brew coffee for dessert :)
On a day when you don't want to give up either atmosphere or taste, I think a visit to Bueokgan Yangsan Oslo Park Branch will give you a satisfying meal ✨

With the weather turning cooler these days, it was a great evening for a walk! 🌃 The parking gave us plenty of time, so we walked around Oslo Park to help digest.
Come have a meal at Bueokgan, the one-of-a-kind atmospheric Western restaurant in Yangsan, and while you're at Oslo Park, take a look around the other shops and enjoy a walk in the plaza too!
