Kid-friendly Yangsan pizza restaurant with adjustable spice: Bueokgan

In short

Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is a European-style Western restaurant on the basement level of the Oslo Park commercial building in Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan. Three of us — one child, two parents — ordered vongole pasta, abalone cream risotto and pepperoni pizza from the table kiosk, and all three dishes arrived at the same time. With baby chairs, a yes-kids-zone policy, group seating and underground parking, Bueokgan Oslo Park suits both family meals and larger gatherings.

The weather suddenly flipped into autumn. It got so nice out that I drove straight to Yangsan 🚗 I heard there was a good Western restaurant near Yangsan Busan National University Hospital, so we headed to Oslo Park 🤞

"Bueokgan Restaurant Oslo Park Branch," famous as a brunch café near Yangsan Busan National University Hospital. It's a European-style restaurant and apparently their 18th location! (So the taste is basically guaranteed 👍🏻)

Open 11:00–21:00 (no break time on weekends / weekday break time 15:00–16:30), and underground parking is available!

Parking and how to find Bueokgan Restaurant at Oslo Park, Yangsan

Bueokgan Restaurant Oslo Park Branch is on the basement floor of the Oslo Park commercial building, and you can just park in the underground lot. Since Oslo Park is next to the Norway Forest Apartments, turn right at the apartment entrance and you'll find the commercial building parking lot!

Park downstairs, take the escalator up, and Bueokgan Restaurant is right there 👏

The moment I walked in, I was struck by how upscale the interior looked 👏 Burgundy-toned floors paired with white-toned ceilings — the harmony was really nice. Total luxe feeling all around 🩷

What is the atmosphere like inside Bueokgan Oslo Park?

Bueokgan Restaurant, a favorite near Namyangsan Station, was apparently designed with inspiration from Sweden's national art museum! (So that explains the upscale vibe..🙈)

Hall seating wrapped by an arched ceiling

The round arched ceiling wraps around the hall, giving it a cozy feel. Lots of tables too, and plenty of space 💕

There's also a colorful seating area near the entrance. It felt like a completely different space 🌟

The space was so pretty I took tons of photos..🫶 With this upscale atmosphere, it'd be perfect for a date or a blind date spot too 🤭

Can you bring kids? Baby chairs and the yes-kids-zone at Bueokgan

Bueokgan Restaurant Oslo Park Branch has baby chairs and is a yes-kids-zone, so it's perfect for eating with kids 🫶 There's group seating too, so it also works for things like wedding invitation gatherings!

The interior is spacious, so even a group doesn't feel cramped. (Even with a baby along, you still want to eat something good, right 😭)

Spacious interior with group seating available
Space decorated with vintage furniture and objects

The space is decorated with vintage furniture and various objects, so I wandered around looking at everything ❣️

The tables were wide enough that three of us sitting together wasn't cramped at all, and the tables were spaced out enough that we couldn't hear the next table's conversation 💕 Don't you think women love this kind of atmosphere..?🫶

Table arrangement with generous spacing
Corner of the restaurant styled with decorative objects

This side is also group seating, so no need to worry about space 🌟 With gatherings, the number of places you can go gets pretty limited once the group grows 😭 But Bueokgan Restaurant, that Namyangsan Station favorite, totally handles group seating 🫶

Ordering at the table kiosk, with photos of every dish

At Bueokgan Restaurant Oslo Park Branch, every seat has its own kiosk, so you can browse photos and order comfortably. Each table is set up individually, so it felt like being treated well 🤞

Table pre-set and ready for guests

Having photos to compare was really nice 🫣 You can't really tell what a dish is like from just a name.

Table kiosk menu screen

We picked the vongole pasta. I went back and forth with the basil pesto cream pasta, but vongole is a classic so I ordered it right away ❣️

Pasta dish selected on the kiosk screen

Abalone cream risotto — I was curious, so I ordered this one too 🍀 Just looking at the menu lineup, you know it can't be bad!! Totally hyped 🫶

Two dishes weren't enough.. Decided on the pepperoni pizza!!!

Pasta, risotto, and pizza all served together at the table

Generous portions too! And I loved that everything came out at the same time 🐷

Three Western dishes on the table

Total visual flex.. I gasped every time a new dish arrived.

Pepperoni pizza ordered at the default spice level

Pepperoni pizza with adjustable spice: mild enough for a child

Bueokgan Restaurant's pepperoni pizza lets you adjust the spice level. We went with the default, and my kid could eat it too 🫶

A glossy slice of pepperoni pizza

So glossy~~ The pepperoni was soft, with a nutty finish. My family's number one pick was the pizza 👍🏻 (said it was the best pizza she'd had recently)

A bowl of thick abalone cream risotto

How the abalone cream risotto tastes

Abalone cream risotto! Thick and nutty. My kid said she wouldn't eat it just looking at the color at first, but after one bite, she inhaled it 👊

Abalone cream risotto topped with king oyster mushroom

There were cute king oyster mushroom slices on top too. Not greasy at all, light and nutty 🌟 Total menu pick success 🌟

Vongole pasta with clams

Why the vongole pasta is the one dish to order

My all-time favorite, vongole pasta 💛 Not too spicy, the spice level was just right, and the noodles were cooked perfectly — so delicious. I cleaned the whole bowl 👍🏻

Noodles lifted from the vongole pasta

I like spaghetti noodles, so I was a bit worried the noodles here were thicker, but actually the sauce soaked in really well, so the flavor came through even more — loved it 🫶

An emptied plate of vongole pasta

A Yangsan Western restaurant that pleased both grandparents and child

Definitely order the vongole pasta 🙋‍♀️ The atmosphere was great, and I went with my parents — they really loved it 🍀

It's hard to find a place that nails both atmosphere and taste, but Bueokgan Restaurant, the Western food favorite in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, pulls it off — come try it! Parking is easy too, so I highly recommend it 🫶
