Seoul fajita spot with soft and hard tortillas: Eaters Mexican HUFS

If you want to try something different near HUFS Station, I'd recommend a taco place. Since we all eat so much Korean, Western, Chinese and Japanese food, I got a bit tired of the usual and went for tacos instead.

At a new restaurant, it can be hard to know what to order — whether to go for soft or crispy tortillas, or how to pair the sauces. At Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch, though, instructions for enjoying the fajita were printed right on the table, so even a first-timer like me could dig in without any confusion.

How to get to Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch, and where to park

Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch is about a 3-minute walk from HUFS Station, so it's easy to get to. It's on the 3rd floor of a large building, so it wasn't hard to find even on a first visit, and there's a parking tower behind the building too.

Parking is free for 1 hour if you dine at the restaurant, which is worth knowing if you're driving.

Inside Eaters Mexican: colorful tiles and a terrace

Walking in, the colorful tiles immediately caught my eye. It felt so different from a typical restaurant, giving off exactly the exotic atmosphere you'd want when you're here for Mexican food.

There's an outdoor terrace as well as indoor seating, so on a nice day it'd be great to eat out there. It felt like a good spot for a date near HUFS, or for meeting friends when you want somewhere with a different kind of atmosphere.

What comes with the signature fajita for two

We ordered the Signature Fajita. It came with chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp along with sautéed onions, so instead of just one protein, we got to try a bunch of different flavors.

I loved that both soft and hard tortillas came with it. I was torn at first between the soft tortilla and the crispy, taco-like hard tortilla, but since both types came out, I could just pick whichever I felt like.

Apparently tortillas and sauce can each be refilled once. It was nice not having to pile up too much at the start — you can just try it first and ask for more if you run short.

Toppings you pick yourself: guacamole, salsa, jalapeños

The fajita didn't just come with sauce — it also came with guacamole, tomato salsa, red cabbage, jalapeños, corn salad, and pineapple. Even with the same meat, the flavor and texture changed depending on what you piled on, so it was fun mixing and matching.

The table instructions on how to eat the fajita were especially helpful for first-timers — you just had to follow along. It was as simple as putting meat and your favorite toppings on the tortilla and adding some sauce, nothing complicated about it.

Overall, the Signature Fajita felt like exactly the right amount for two people. With several kinds of meat, shrimp, and all the different toppings, even ordering just one menu item gave us plenty to choose from and enjoy.
