Have you seen the taco frenzy since Chipotle landed here? Watching it all, I suddenly got a serious craving for tacos and fajitas myself. So today I'm introducing a HUFS-area restaurant with great vibes, perfect for a date too — Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch 🤗

How to get to Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch, and where to park

Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch is on the 3rd floor of a building at 13 Hwigyeong-ro, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, about a 3-minute walk from Exit 1 of HUFS Station on Line 1. It's closed every Monday, and you get 1 hour of free parking in the building's parking tower.

Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch is in the biggest white building you see when you walk straight out of Exit 1 of HUFS Station (right next to McDonald's!).

Eaters Mexican menu sign standing outside the building

Since the branch is on the 3rd floor, I only realized there was a Mexican taco place near HUFS Station because I spotted the menu sign standing out front.

Parking tower entrance behind the building

There's also a parking tower behind the building, so it's convenient if you're driving, and diners get 1 hour of free parking.

Inside Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch: rooftop seats and group tables

Take the elevator to the 3rd floor and the entrance is right there. There's a rooftop dining area on one side of the restaurant, a big group table further in, and even kids' chairs are ready.

Ride the elevator up to the 3rd floor and you're right at Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch. The vibe is so good!

There's a rooftop dining area tucked to one side too, which seemed great for a breezy day like this one or an evening date spot.

A bit further inside there's also a big table space, good for group gatherings,

and kids' chairs are ready too, so it seems easy enough to bring kids along for a meal.

What's on the menu at Eaters Mexican?

Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch's two signature items are the Eaters Fajita and the combo platter. You order via tablet PC right at your table, so I sat and browsed the menu slowly.

Menu list of tacos, burritos, quesadillas and more

Beyond that there were tacos, burritos, quesadillas, chimichangas — really a wide range of choices. I visited during an early lunch hour and orders kept coming in from group parties, solo diners, and delivery too, so I thought, yeah, this is definitely a HUFS-area restaurant.

Good for a solo college student meal, an easy diet-friendly option, or grabbing a casual drink with friends!

Eaters Fajita for two: what it costs and what you get

The Eaters Fajita was ₩37,900, plus 2 Zero Cokes at ₩5,000, coming to ₩42,900 total for two. I ordered the Eaters Fajita, one of the BEST signature menu items.

This is it~ packed with chicken, beef, shrimp, onion! So generous.

Tortillas, vegetable salsa and sauce on a 3-tier tray

On top of that, Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch serves it with tortillas, vegetable salsa, and sauce arranged on a 3-tier stand, which made it look even more appetizing.

Recommended sauce pairing guide on the table

Each table has a guide to recommended sauce pairings too, so I mixed and matched and tried out several different flavors.

Plus you get to try both types of tortilla — soft flour tortilla and crispy corn tortilla — and each brought its own appeal, which I loved even more. Once the two of us finished the Eaters Fajita, we walked out patting our full bellies. This HUFS-area Mexican restaurant nailed it on both taste and portion.

Is Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch worth a second visit?

I went through a phase of being really into Mexican food and ate it constantly, but these days there aren't that many places serving fajitas! So having Eaters Mexican HUFS Branch nearby was such a relief 😊 Eating the fajitas, tacos, and burritos again reminded me how true to their raw ingredients this food is — genuinely healthy. Good taste, good vibe — great for a group meal or a date spot too.
