Changwon hair salon damaged bob perm: Vivienne Hair
In short
Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch is a hair salon on Danjeong-ro in Seongsan-gu, Changwon. On my second visit, I went ahead with a bob perm despite damage from coloring and straightening treatments. The curls turned out better than expected, and once I learned how to style it at home, it was easier to manage without my daily curling iron.

After changing from long hair to a bob, shampooing and blow-drying became easier, so I kept it short. Wanting a change from the same style, I got a bob perm at Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch on my second visit.

Where is the salon, and is parking available?
The salon is on the second floor at 23 Danjeong-ro, Seongsan-gu, Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do. At the time the original post was written, its listed hours were 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

At the time, there was a notice saying first-time services booked through Naver Booking received a 20% discount. I also did not find the regular prices overly burdensome.

I drove there and arrived for my appointment. There was underground parking and parking support, which was convenient. I was advised to collect my parking ticket before leaving.

What was the salon like on a return visit?
I returned because I remembered it being more spacious and tidy than I had expected. There were several stylists, so I could book the person I wanted.

What was the consultation like for a damaged bob perm?
I had grown my hair out for a while without cutting it because I was thinking about getting a perm. But it was quite damaged from frequent coloring and straightening treatments. I was told that cutting away the damaged sections could make it considerably shorter, and the stylist did not recommend a perm.

Still, I wanted a change, so I asked to go ahead. I requested that as little length as possible be cut, but I felt both worried and excited about how my shorter hair would look.

What were the space and service like during the appointment?
The floor-to-ceiling windows looked out over Sangnam-dong, and the shampoo room was tidy too. The shampoo felt refreshing, which made the experience relaxing.

A price list was displayed on the mirrors, which made me less uneasy about the service cost.

I had my hair done again by the stylist who had colored it previously. As before, they were kind, and I was pleased with the service.

They also served snacks and iced coffee during the appointment.

How did the bob perm turn out, and how was it to style at home?
At the end, I was shown in detail how to dry and style my hair.

I checked the back in the mirror too, and the curls came out better than I expected. I had worried that the damage would keep the curls from forming well, but I was relieved that it did not flare out into the triangular shape I had feared.

I was also given several samples to use when washing my hair after the perm.

The new style felt a little unfamiliar at first. Once I learned how to style it at home, it became easier to manage, and I stopped using the curling iron I had used every day. I especially liked wearing it half-up.
