Schedule Osteria: where is this Jonggak-Euljiro Italian restaurant?

I was hunting for a good-atmosphere restaurant near Jonggak and Euljiro when I found Schedule Osteria! I went purely for the vibe, but the food turned out to be delicious too — so here's the review from that very satisfying day!

Schedule Osteria is on the 2nd floor of the iM Financial Center building, so the space is clean and easy to find! Parking is hard to come by around here, but this place has it, which made it easy to visit by car. And on top of that, it's been selected as a Catch Table Best 100 restaurant, so my expectations were sky-high before I even walked in!

Which seat to pick: private room, window hall or bar

From the beautifully atmospheric private room to hall seating with a full view of downtown Seoul through the floor-to-ceiling windows, the seating options here are really varied — worth choosing based on the purpose of your gathering.

If you sit at the bar, you can watch the chefs cooking, which seems like it'd be fun.

What we ordered at Schedule Osteria, plus the bread service

At Schedule Osteria you can enjoy everything from appetizers like salad and onion soup to pasta, risotto, steak, and dessert. We ordered three dishes in total.

• Prime sirloin cap risotto
• Lobster tail bisque spaghettini

Before the meal, they brought out bread with truffle-scented butter — spread on the warm bread, it was genuinely delicious.

Ricotta salad: what's in it?

First up was the salad! Fresh greens paired with homemade ricotta cheese — really tasty. The asparagus and green peas added a nice crunchy texture, and the handmade ricotta was soft and nutty, pairing well with the salad. The dressing was white-wine based, light and refreshing — a great starter.

And then the real favorite pasta of my life — Schedule Osteria's lobster bisque spaghettini! They topped it with a grilled lobster tail, and the plump lobster looked amazing before I even took a bite. The fresh noodles were chewy yet soft, and the slightly spicy bisque sauce was so, so good!

200% would order this again if I come back. If you visit Schedule Osteria, I really recommend trying this pasta! (It looked so pretty I took way too many photos.)

Prime sirloin cap (salchisal) risotto

Does that mean the risotto wasn't good? Not at all! The prime sirloin cap steak risotto was also fantastic. Usually the steak on top of risotto is simply seasoned with salt and pepper, but here they brushed it with a taerae sauce and grilled it over charcoal! The chef at Schedule Osteria really knows flavor!

They also topped it with wasabi foam, which made the plating gorgeous — a dish that was a treat to look at too.

Oh, one more thing! The pickles here were really good, so if you want some, be sure to order extra through the tablet when placing your order. They're free, so order away without worrying about it!

Is Schedule Osteria good for a first date or a business dinner?

I came for the atmosphere but left thoroughly satisfied with the food too — the salad, risotto, and pasta were all delicious, and every dish was beautifully plated. The restaurant's upscale atmosphere and variety of seating make it a solid recommendation for blind dates, regular dates, gatherings, or business meetings :)
