I was out in Incheon browsing Lotte Department Store and trying to decide what to eat when I discovered Menya Seoul. I already like ramen and mazesoba, so the moment I saw a photo of mazesoba topped with a big chunk of pork belly, I knew I had to try it haha.

It's also super convenient if you're coming from Incheon Terminal, so it's a decent option for anyone shopping and looking for somewhere to eat.

Menya Seoul Lotte Department Store Incheon Branch is located in the Food Avenue on B1 of Lotte Department Store Incheon!! At 35 Yeonnam-ro, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, you can walk straight there from Incheon Terminal to the department store.

Choosing from the menu models out front

There were menu models displayed in front of the Menya Seoul storefront, which made choosing so much easier than just looking at photos. From dongpo pork ramen to spicy ramen, jambon ramen, and my beloved mazesoba~~~~ there were way more menu options than I expected.

If you're visiting as a pair like us, ordering one mazesoba and one broth ramen to share is a solid combo haha.

Ordering, taking the buzzer and finding a bar seat

At Menya Seoul, you order first and wait with a buzzer.

There's a long stretch of bar seating right out front, so the layout felt totally fine even for solo diners, and the food court itself was clean, so overall it was a comfortable place to eat!!

We grabbed a seat first and waited, and browsing the menu while our food came out made the wait fly by~

It seemed like a good option especially for anyone searching for an Incheon Terminal restaurant where solo dining is comfortable.

There were two condiments on the table at Menya Seoul to add to your food as you like! One was lemon kelp vinegar, the other chili oil.

Pork belly mazesoba: how the soupless bowl looked

And now the one I was most looking forward to — pork belly mazesoba!! Piled generously with seasoned ground meat around an egg yolk, plus chives, seaweed flakes, and bonito flakes.

On top of that, a thick chunk of pork belly!! The moment it arrived, I knew I had to photograph it before mixing lol. Each ingredient was laid out separately, so it looked genuinely mouthwatering. The pork belly was noticeably thicker than expected, so meat lovers would probably be pretty satisfied. And of course, the highlight of mazesoba is the moment you mix it all together lol.

I popped the yolk and mixed the ground meat, chives, seaweed flakes, and bonito flakes evenly through the noodles. The noodles themselves are thick and chewy, so they held their texture well even under the rich sauce.

Since mazesoba alone felt like it might leave us wanting something more, we also ordered a broth ramen.

The reddish broth came loaded with generous toppings — thick meat and char siu, egg, green onion, bean sprouts, and even seaweed.

If mazesoba is rich and thick, ramen lets you enjoy a warm broth alongside it, so taking turns between the two worked really well. A few bites of mazesoba, then a sip of broth — it resets your palate lol.
