I went to Biorn Hair Apgujeong Rodeo, an Apgujeong Rodeo hair salon, for designer Han Su-ji's inner clinic. Last time I had a clinic done she told me it's good to come back every few weeks, but life got busy (?) and my hair went right back to being frizzy... ㅠㅜ

To repair the damage, feed it nutrients, and bring back that silky, moisture-rich hair~ I visited Biorn Hair Apgujeong Rodeo. Just walk one alley in from exit 6 of Apgujeong Rodeo Station and you're at Biorn Hair Apgujeong Rodeo~ Really convenient access.

Keeping up with the international crowd, there were English signs posted, and it turned out to be a global salon that a lot of foreign visitors like to go to~

The clean interior with sunlight pouring in through the windows made for a bright, refreshing atmosphere — a genuinely pleasant salon to be in~

Today's treatment at Biorn Hair: Inner Clinic 25.0

The treatment I got at Biorn Hair Apgujeong Rodeo that day was the Inner Clinic 25.0.

They served coffee for me and my partner who came along too, and the clean-tasting coffee with the snacks was a perfect pairing~

True to her expertise, Han Su-ji checked my hair condition and recommended the clinic that suited it best~ In my case she suggested the inner clinic that focuses on restoring moisture.

Turns out the program follows this exact process~ Getting such a detailed explanation made me understand the steps much more systematically, and it made the whole thing feel a lot more like proper care~

Keratin absorption and 10 minutes of heat at 60°C

The inner clinic went: shampoo, then absorbing high-molecular keratin, then low-molecular keratin, in that order, followed by heat treatment.

In the shampoo room, she washed my hair and then had the high-molecular keratin protein absorbed in~

After absorbing the low-molecular keratin, she moved on to heat treatment~ She kept the heat treatment going for a good while, and I really felt like the nutrients were soaking in properly~

I got about 10 minutes of heat treatment at 60 degrees~ She said 60 degrees is the temperature where protein absorbs best~

Nano-steam head spa machine for moisture

Next she brought out what looked like the newest head spa machine I've ever seen — fully touch-screen! — and supplied moisture through nano-steam~

Being such a new-model machine, there was definitely no unpleasant smell, no failed misting, no water droplets forming — the machine ran clean and the spray output was on another level~ It really felt like mist coming toward my hair and soaking in, so moist! I honestly felt like I'd become some kind of mountain spirit haha~!

The finishing shampoo happened in a warm, cozy shampoo room, on a massage bed — she did a hair pack and a really satisfying scalp massage too, so it was a genuinely enjoyable time~

The hair that used to split and fray got smoothed out and filled with moisture, ending up much calmer overall — a really enjoyable experience~
