Why a lash perm instead of a daily eyelash curler

Lately, curling my lashes with an eyelash curler every morning had gotten kind of annoying, and no matter how hard I worked at it, they'd droop right back down after a while..😭 Especially with my lashes pointing downward, my eyes looked a little heavy and tired. So this time I decided to try a lash perm instead of the curler!

How clean is the Mippeudang Lash Guri studio?

The first thing I noticed walking into Mippeudang Lash Guri was how tidy and well-kept the whole space was. Since a lash perm is a treatment done right around the eyes, cleanliness and a hygienic atmosphere really matter to me — and the interior was so organized that I felt comfortable walking in on my first visit :)

The overall space was neatly arranged, and the treatment area felt tidy too, so I could lie back and relax comfortably during the service!

Before the treatment, my lashes were overall pointing downward. They had decent length, but the curl just wasn't holding, so when I opened my eyes, my lashes slightly covered my pupils and my whole eye area looked a bit heavy. Even with regular curler use, the curl would drop out quickly, which was frustrating — so this time I wanted eyes that looked naturally bright without curling every day, and decided to try the black moisture ampoule perm!!

After the treatment, my lashes lifted naturally from the root and my eyes looked so much more open!

Looking straight on especially, my lashes lifted upward instead of covering my pupils, giving my eyes a much clearer look! And with the black color added, each individual lash looked a little more defined too 👍🏻🤍

It felt different from lash extensions, where lashes are lengthened — rather than adding volume like extensions do, this is better for people who want to bring out their own natural lashes for a clearer eye shape!

The best part: a faster eye makeup routine

What I was most happy about after getting the black moisture ampoule perm at Mippeudang Guri was how much easier my makeup routine became! Usually for eye makeup I'd have to curl my lashes first, then apply mascara, just to get them to look properly lifted — but with the perm already holding a basic curl, my prep time was noticeably shorter!!

No overly stiff, artificial-looking curl here ❌ — I love a naturally lifted style, and this result was exactly what I wanted!
