With fall approaching, I went to get a tone-down hair color at a hair salon near Gangnam Station and wanted to introduce it to you.

The goal: tone down already-colored hair without more damage
Feeling the slight chill in the air made me crave a tone-down hair color, haha... Actually, since I'd dyed my hair not long before, minimizing damage while toning it down was the whole point of this visit! So after carefully picking through salons that seemed skilled around here, I ended up at Heeol Hair Gangnam Flagship Store!!
The moment I walked in, the calm wood-and-white interior totally won me over, haha. After a short wait, I had a consultation with designer Song Geon. We decided on a moisture clinic to help my dry, brittle hair plus a tone-down color!
How the tone-down color went: dye applied on both sides at once
Designer Song Geon and his intern partner applied the hair dye on both sides at the same time, so the color came out even with no left-right difference, haha.
From the initial consultation through the actual dyeing, he explained everything calmly and answered my questions well, which made me trust him even more! My excitement about becoming an 'autumn girl' just kept growing... lol 🍁🍂
The shampoo room at Heeol Hair: scalp massage done right
After the dye was applied and I waited a bit, I moved to the shampoo room — and this place is seriously a scalp massage haven. The shampoo felt so refreshing I wanted to keep getting my hair washed forever, honestly. Rinsing around the neck and hairline is something I always worry about, but they rinsed so thoroughly that I was really happy with it ദ്ദി˶ˊᵕˋ˵)
What the 3-step moisture clinic involves
After the shampoo, during the moisture clinic... I could hear a bubbling sound, like something in a kettle — but looking at the photo now, it looks more like something in a fish tank. (๑'ᵕ'ᵕ)🫧🫧
They even prepared orange juice for me to drink during the clinic, so I never got bored!
After the bubbling moisture-nourishing clinic, I went back to the shampoo room for one more application, making it a 3-step clinic in total — honestly, I feel like I'll be coming back just for this clinic again!!!!!!!!
A week later: still smooth with shampoo alone
It's been about a week since my salon visit, and my hair is still bouncy and soft (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) ෆෆ Honestly, when I wash my hair, I ONLY use shampoo — no conditioner, treatment, or essence, that stuff is just such a hassle, let's be real. Even though I've only used shampoo, my hair still flows like silk a week later, and I really, really love it. >_<
Heeol Hair Gangnam also has a clean private restroom inside the salon, so moving around during the appointment was really convenient.
