I visited Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch, famous in Paju for aesthetic café vibes (분좋카). Turns out there are two locations, Unjeong Main and Gyoha! I found it while searching for a good latte spot near Unjeong Central Station, and the signature coffee was so good I want to go back.

Parking at Pound Coffee and the weekday afternoon mood

I visited on a weekday afternoon and loved how quiet it felt right from the entrance.

There's parking in front of the store, and the Unjeong Health Park parking lot is nearby too.

Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch is a pet-friendly café. There was even a cute little dog water fountain at the entrance.

Let me show you the Pound Coffee menu first. I was excited since I'd heard it's a coffee hotspot. Signature menu item: the Paju Danjang Bean Cream Latte, to go! Next time I'll have to try the ice cream latte too.

It's also a famous dessert café for baked goods. They even did a pop-up store at Shinsegae Department Store's Uijeongbu branch.

Solo coffee, group tables and the forest-view window seats

It was quiet enough to be great for a solo café visit. Though it'd probably get busy at lunchtime or on weekends. The lush green view through the floor-to-ceiling windows was pretty.

I'd been looking for an aesthetic café in Unjeong, and this space really won me over. Highly recommend it as an aesthetic café near Hanul Village.

There's also group seating, so it's good for gatherings with several people.

How does the Paju Jangdan Bean Cream Latte taste?

While I was busy looking around and taking photos, my coffee was ready. Even the coffee has serious aesthetic vibes!

Pound Coffee's signature drink, the Paju Danjang Bean Cream Latte. Priced at 6,000 won! I've had plenty of black sesame lattes, but this was my first Danjang bean cream latte, and it totally lives up to its name — such a nutty, savory coffee. Even the beans stuck to the rim of the cup were tasty. The beans themselves are just good!!

One sip in and I was already convinced this is a coffee hotspot~ It's pretty strong, so I mixed it well before drinking. Usually even a café's signature drink tastes similar to what other cafés offer, but this is a coffee you can only get at Pound Coffee, which makes it extra special.

The outside was slightly crisp and the inside moist like a pound cake, that's the financier for you. Overall it's not overly sweet or intense, so it seems like a safe pick for a dessert gift that everyone would like. My pick was the Salty Caramel!
