Where is Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch in Paju?

Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch is a café on the first floor of a quiet residential building in Unjeong, Paju. A few days ago I had a meal in Paju and started craving a strong cup of coffee, so I looked for an Unjeong café — and found this one, tucked into the ground floor of a quiet residential block.

It has a modern vibe, and the coffee and desserts here are genuinely good, so it's a place I stop by fairly often for a cup.

Parking and opening hours at Pound Coffee

There are a few parking spots right in front of the store, so parking is easy. If those are full, you can park near the nearby park instead, so there's no real hassle getting there.

This Unjeong café opens at 10 a.m. and stays open until 8 p.m., every single day, so you can drop by whenever a coffee or dessert craving hits.

Inside Pound Coffee: interior and seating

The interior of Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch isn't huge, but the tables are spaced generously apart, giving it a calm vibe that's good for a quiet cup of coffee.

There's a good variety of financiers on display. This time I ordered the salty choco financier (₩3,500) to enjoy alongside my coffee.

The atmosphere is lovely, and pretty little props are displayed all around, so there's fun in just browsing the interior. I think it's a great spot to chat with friends over coffee, and just as good for a date.

What we ordered and how to choose your beans

There's a wide range of coffee here, and I went with the Aussie Summer Latte (₩6,000) and an iced Americano (₩4,500). You can choose your beans from three options — nutty, acidic, or decaf — and there's also filter coffee if you want to pick beans and have it brewed drip-style.

It was just past lunchtime, so there were a lot of customers having coffee — every table besides the two in the photo was full. Some people were chatting, others were working on laptops.

This Unjeong café even had hand-drawn postcards, which were fun to look at while waiting for my order.

Pound Coffee's Aussie Summer Latte comes with two big scoops of ice cream — genuinely a lot of ice cream. Here it is, the ice cream latte, brought out a little while later. Eat the top scoop right away, then wait for the rest to melt into the coffee — it tastes even better that way.

How the salty choco financier tastes

And here's the financier. Being salted chocolate, it had a slightly salty edge along with a nice chocolatey flavor — a dessert that paired really well with the coffee.

Iced Americano with Mid Century beans

For the Americano, I chose the Mid Century beans, and they were exactly my type. It's a fragrant, refreshing coffee — perfect for washing down a greasy meal.

The coffee glass was pretty too, so I found myself admiring it as I drank — this Pound Coffee really grew on me, to the point I wanted to buy the beans to take home.

When I stirred the ice cream latte at this Unjeong café, it looked just like Jupiter — pretty swirling stripes that made drinking it even more fun.

The ice cream tastes great, and eating it together with the coffee is part of the fun — affogato is good too, but I'd recommend the Summer Latte even more.

I also split the financier in half to eat with the coffee. It had a slight pound-cake-like texture to it.

It's a flavor that pairs really well with coffee, and it made me want to try other flavors next time. It also seemed delicious enough to make a good gift, wrapped up to take home.

Even topped with a bit of ice cream like this, the financier tasted great — a flavor kids would probably love too.

Who will like Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch?

Both the coffee and the desserts are great, so I'd recommend this Unjeong café as a stop after a meal in Paju. I'll definitely be back to try a different drink next time.
