Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch is on the 1st floor of 20 Wasokssunhwan-ro 192beon-gil, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do. Hours are 10:00–20:00, last order 19:30.
Visiting Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch! It's close to the Unjeong Multipurpose Gymnasium. There are two branches — Unjeong and Gyoha — so don't mix them up~! The one I went to is the Unjeong Main Branch.
Parking and the rules for bringing a dog
You can park right in front of the café, or if it's full I'd recommend the park next door for comfort. When I went there happened to be an open spot right in front, so I parked easily and went in.
Let's go into Pound Coffee! * For reference, Pound Coffee is dog-friendly — leash required and a vaccination certificate is needed. * I wish I'd brought my dog along ㅠㅠ couldn't this time, but I'll come again next time haha.
Switching the café latte to decaf costs nothing

Here's the counter. The interior vibe was sleek and upscale. Turns out Pound Coffee is famous for both financiers and lattes? So I was just going to get coffee, but ended up ordering financiers too haha.
I ordered a Café Latte (decaf) 5,000 / Vanilla Macadamia Financier 3,500 / Salt Choco Financier 3,500. They were plated beautifully and brought over personally. The owner was super kind!
How the four financier flavors tasted
This place really is a financier spot. The cream coating on top is pure crispy sweetness!
But inside, the financiers are completely soft. The flavor is rich too, so eating them with coffee is just... 🥹 Who knew there was another baked-goods spot like this in Unjeong!!!!! Financier lovers, gather round...
Doesn't it look so tempting? The Salt Choco was a harmony of salty and sweet chocolate — this financier is my personal favorite. There's a reason everyone says you have to try the financiers here.
The café latte! True to its reputation, nutty and full-bodied. Since I visited in the afternoon I ordered it decaf, and unlike other cafés, the decaf upgrade was free? The owner's got great taste... ! 💗

Yep... ^^ Midway through, my mom came to visit. I texted her that I was eating a financier alone at the café and it was so good, and she actually showed up in person. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Green Tangerine Ade 6,000 / Hazelnut Choco Financier 3,500 / Apple Earl Grey Financier 3,200. This round was paid for out of my own pocket! 🤗 An extra order. Mom said she just wanted something cold and refreshing, but the financiers looked so good she ended up ordering two haha.

A surprisingly nice mix of wood tones and gray tones. Full of understated luxury.
The vibe was comfortable yet sleek, so great for hanging out. Lots of people reading books, and it seemed like a good spot for laptop work too! 💻📚

Maybe because it's a dog-friendly café, there was a 'dog water station' right at the entrance haha.
They keep cool water ready for dogs — the owner's sweetness... ㅎ really touched me. I'll have to come back with my dog next time ㅠㅠ
Is Pound Coffee Unjeong worth a visit?
Unjeong's go-to latte spot and financier spot, 'Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch.' It's a café with freshly baked goods made daily — when I went there were only financiers, but from their Instagram I saw canelés too. It has a lovely park view and is close to GTX Unjeong Jungang Station, so it's an easy place to drop by. The financiers are so good this café would make a fine dessert gift spot too.
