What is Iridescent, the Seongsu café, like?

Iridescent is a café and dessert shop on Seoulsup 4-gil in Seongsu. I'm back with a Seongsu café story after a while! Honestly, I'm looking for a new place to move to, and Seongsu is where I want to end up, so I keep going there! That's how I found Iridescent, a Seongsu café with a great vibe, and I wanted to introduce it to you :) No matter how often I visit Seongsu, I always want to go back.

This is what the outside of Iridescent looks like! The shop is done in black, which gives it a chic, modern feel.

What's on the Iridescent menu?

You can see the Iridescent menu as soon as you step inside.

I really wanted to try the perilla smoothie (T_T), but I went for coffee first and will save the perilla smoothie for next time.

Next time I want to try the yuzu basil granita (a slushy-style frozen drink) and the pepper tiramisu, haha

Iridescent set menu options

I chose the Einspänner + chocolate cruffin (croissant-cookie hybrid) set. Being able to taste both the Einspänner and the choco cruffin at once made it feel like good value! There was also a set with a perilla smoothie + dumpling latte + pepper tiramisu, and another with an Einspänner + Iridescent latte + s'more brookie and more.

Let me show you the inside of Iridescent too! Seongsu really is the hot spot... lately I eat almost only in Seongsu... there are so many great restaurants and so many places with a nice mood. So much to see... I can't give up Seongsu...

Iridescent has a variety of spaces, so you can sit wherever suits you.

What the name Iridescent means

This is Iridescent's business card. Iridescent means a color that shines differently depending on the angle you view it from. Maybe that's why the menu uses such varied ingredients and aims for new flavors!

It feels like they take care with their coffee beans too! I think I'll become a regular! The logo is pretty as well.

How did the Einspänner and choco cruffin set taste?

My Einspänner plus choco cruffin set has arrived!

I'll show it to you several times, haha. I'm serious about food and menus... taking lots of photos has become a habit.. And you get a cruffin and a coffee, so it's killing two birds with one stone, right?

Now for the Einspänner :) The nutty toppings on top and the coffee underneath went together fantastically.

Above all, the biggest plus of Iridescent was being able to perch outside and eat while watching the Seongsu street!
