Looking at the menu, there were way more options than I expected ㅋㅋ

There was chicken breast, jambon jalapeño, egg potato, pollock roe potato, and mushroom grilled sandwiches, plus baguettes ranging from tofu cream cheese to honey butter, pollock roe, and even fig.

Honestly, since I'd come all this way for a Seoul Station sandwich spot, all the sandwiches looked delicious and I wavered for a moment. But... I had a reason for coming all the way here. Fig pistachio baguette, today it's only you haha.
Fig pistachio baguette, 18,900 won: is it worth the price?
Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station's fig pistachio baguette is a seasonal menu item priced at ₩18,900. Up close, the pistachio cream was piled on generously and thick.

Honestly, when I first looked at the menu board I thought,
'...that's a pretty steep price for bread...?
But the moment I saw that thick layer of pistachio cream, I started to get it. These days a slice of chunky butter cookie costs about the same anyway... for this much pistachio cream... fair enough 😇
How well do fig and pistachio cream go together?
Finally, today's star. Just looking at it, the pistachio cream looked incredibly rich and thick. One bite in and my first thought was
Ah... I'm so glad I came here for this.
The pistachio cream is so nutty. That thick, rich cream coats your tongue heavily, and yet the sweetness of the fig-and-jam combo doesn't get lost at all..!! I thought with pistachio flavor this strong it might get greasy, or the fig would get overpowered — but nope. The pistachio stays endlessly nutty, and the fig does its own job just as well haha.
When the fig's sweetness and its crunchy seeds come in together with the rich pistachio cream, wow...
I can't believe these two work this well together.
is what I thought. Neither one overpowers the other — the nuttiness and sweetness come through together, and it's the kind of combo that makes you keep reaching for more 💘
A baguette that even a baguette skeptic finished
Honestly, I'm not really a baguette person(?). If you get a bad one it's so hard it scrapes the roof of your mouth... and your jaw starts to ache... you know that feeling? So even with sandwiches I tend to deliberately pick softer bread. But this one, I really cleaned my plate haha.

The baguette felt like it was there to support the pistachio cream and fig, so it wasn't as heavy as I expected — if anything, the bread's own nutty flavor added to it, and I enjoyed it all the way to the end. At first I thought, well, it's a baguette, maybe I'll leave some... but before I knew it, it was gone. And so was the person who said it was expensive haha.
Is it good for a quick lunch or takeout near Seoul Station?

After eating, I could see why people come here specifically as a Seoul Station sandwich spot. It seemed like a great grab-and-go option before catching a train at Seoul Station, and also convenient for anyone like me who happened to be nearby and wanted a light, easy lunch.
According to the shop's guidance, items are made fresh the same day after ordering, and it's recommended to eat within 30 minutes of purchase. If you can't eat it right away, they suggest refrigerating it and then reheating it in an air fryer at 180°C for about 3 minutes. Good to know if you're planning to take some to go :)
Next visit: the chicken breast sandwich

Honestly, even while eating the fig pistachio baguette, the other sandwiches kept catching my eye. The chicken breast sandwich in particular looked pretty filling, and I want to come back and try it as a proper meal next time.
This time I really only came for the fig + pistachio combo, but the baguette turned out to be tastier than I expected, and there were so many other sandwich options that I naturally got curious about what to try next.

Above all, just discovering the fig pistachio combo already made today's lunch a win. If you like both pistachio and fig, this combo is one worth remembering. If you're craving bread or a sandwich near Seoul Station and looking for a good sandwich spot, put Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station on your shortlist :) I'll be back next time for the chicken breast sandwich!

There's also a verification perk for runners, so keep that in mind and grab a coffee discount too!
